This fits my MacBook Pro 15" 2018 (retina) perfectly. It feels nice and robust on the outside, and the padding on the inside has memory foam, as well as a layer of plush fleece. The external pocket fits the charger and cable, and even an external drive if you have one. The best cases were the be.ez LARobe ones (French, I think -- went out of business, it seems). This is not quite as sturdy, but very nice nonetheless. It's definitely not floppy and flimsy like many others out there. It holds its shape nicely when empty. I watched a YouTube review that convinced me this would be a good fit. Turns out it's an excellent fit. I'd also gone into BestBuy and Staples to look and feel a few cases. This one stood out as being quality (but was in the wrong size) so I ordered it in the correct size when I got home. Glad I did.

So i am not proud to admit but my computer was on the hood of my car (ive got two little ones and little sleep) and i drive down the road only for it to fly off (literally got the bag in and put it one a day before this happened). The bag did what it should and protected my computer. Only damage was to the corners of my computer where it hit the zipper and the bag has a couple road rash spots. But i highly recommend this product.

I ended up returning because I didn't feel that it had much padding/protection on the edges, which is why I knocked two stars. The front and back of the case were great, the material and zippers are wonderful, but I'm looking for something to carry in a backpack and protect side/edges if it gets set down too hard or someone knocks it over.

I really like the Incase products and was very disappointed that they discontinued the sleeve I had before. My previous sleeve was perfect for dropping into a backpack and/or a brief case and the 15" MBP laptop would slide easily in and out of the sleeve which I needed, especially going through security at airports. Concerning this sleeve, the fit was much tighter than the previous sleeve I owned which would slow me down getting my computer out in a timely fashion at TSA. To be fair, I have to assume the dimensions are crafted to the newer MBP. I did like the outside pocket to store papers or thumb drives.

$50 for a laptop sleeve is a bit much (where are my $30 old school neoprene Incase sleeves at?!), but I've been impressed! I've used this sleeve on a daily basis for the past 6 months and it doesn't show any signs of wear. I carry a flash drive, two USB-C to USB adapters, and a USB-C to lightning cable in the outside zipper pocket and would still have room for more without putting pressure on laptop in the main compartment. The sleeve itself isn't super thick with padding, but I use it in conjunction with the padded laptop compartment of my bag. The sleeve liner is very soft and has not made any marks on my laptop. Fit is good, easy to get in and out. 2019 15.4in model for reference.
