CONSERVATIVE & PRACTICAL BLOUSE, SUITABLE FOR WORK: This blouse is very practical. I got the blue blouse because it matches a blue jacket that I want to wear to work. I've been looking for a coordinating blouse for a while. This one is perfect. My jacket is a draping polyester just like this blouse. The knit textures of the fabrics coordinate. The simple solid color is very practical. I don't have to worry about patterns clashing between my jacket, blouse and pants. For example, my jacket has knit lace trim running down the front edges. Pairing it with a simple solid color shirt means the lace won't clash with anything on the shirt. The length of the hem and sleeves is practical. The length of my jacket is 34”. The length of the size 26 blouse is 28.3”. The shirt hem will not stick out below the jacket. My jacket has ¾ length sleeves. The sleeve on the blouse just covers the upper arm. The shirt sleeve won't hang down below the jacket sleeves. I like the V-neck. I can wear a necklace with this to dress it up. I can tie a silk scarf around my neck for warmth when the air-conditioning is too cold. Since the shirt is a simple solid color, I don't have to worry about it clashing with the pattern on my scarf. PLUS SIZE STYLING: This shirt has styling details that compliment Plus-size women. The pleat in the front allows the fabric to spread open towards the bottom, to accommodate A-line figures. I love fabrics that are loose and draping. I do not want a skin tight shirt exposing the size and shape of my curves. Not at work. At work I want to be both discrete and sophisticated by covering my curves with luxurious draping fabrics. If you have both a belly bump in front AND an amble derriere in the back, you need a hemline that is bigger than your belly and also bigger than your hips, or else the shirt won't drape straight down. Size 4X women have 49” waist and 59” hips. This hemline is 66”, to cover both your belly bump in front AND your derriere in back, without looking like you're covered in shrink-wrap-tubing. FABRIC: The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. NOT COOLING MATERIAL: Polyester is a good wicking fabric. But neither polyester nor polyurethane spandex are absorbent. You need a mix of both absorbency and wicking to have a cooling fabric. This is not a perfect blend for removing sweat and keeping you dry in the summer. Regardless, I love wearing polyester in the summer if it's loose, drapey, and thin. The air circulates under the draping fabric, keeping me cool enough. ABOUT LONGEVITY & PRACTICALITY: Polyester is not the best fabric for the longevity, but it is much stronger than the model or viscose clothes that are popular now. That's based on my experience and also based on the label care instructions. CARE: Wash in warm water (not hot) at or below 104 degrees F. The tag says do not tumble dry. After washing, it is recommended to roll your shirt in a towel, wring the water out, and hang it to dry. I find that very impractical for American women. I put my polyester shirts in a mesh bag on the lowest heat setting of the dryer for delicate fabrics. Polyester dries VERY QUICKLY! Do not use the high or normal heat setting. Polyester usually doesn't need to be ironed. I don't iron mine. The tag says you can iron it if you put a “sheet” between the iron and fabric. Do not use bleach. Polyester is made from petroleum. It does degrade upon contact with water. Everytime it is washed, tens of thousands of micro-particles come loose and wash away. Washing it does weaken it over time. From a budget point of view, it is much cheaper than natural fibers and this is why most clothing is made from it. Despite that, I still have and wear some of my polyester shirts from the 1990's. ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT: Microparticles are released when polyester contacts water. When you sweat and move, microplastics will rub against your pores. When you wash the fabric, they will rinse into the washing machine waste water. The runoff is spread through the water all over the planet. Scientists have found it widespread in the water systems. It makes it's way into the food chain. STITCHING: The seams have Overlock-Serger stitching. This should make them quite durable. When you see a seam start to open from wear and tear, you will have time to fix it. You can continue wearing it the rest of the day, take it home, and stitch it up before the entire width of stitching opens up. RATING: This is a practical shirt appropriate for work. It comes in the hard to find size 26. 5 STARS!

This top is a very pretty print. It will make a beautiful spring work top or pair it with jeans for a dressed down look. The flutter sleeves are really nice for those of us with larger upper arms. The ad needs a relevant size guide because the current one is useless. It doesn't have a bust size and that's really the most relevant size for a top. I have a 47" bust and the 22 fits me a little loose. I should have chose the next size down. I'm not a fan of the pleat in the upper back area. It probably won't bother most people but if you have sensory issues, you may not like it either. The top is well made. It's a summer weigh shirt but could be worn year round if you like short sleeves in the cooler months. Wash in cool water, lie flat to dry.

This 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex Plus Size Tops for Women has the following features: a V-neck opening with a decorative pleat, short sleeves, a tunic-styled body, and a curved hemline. It does fit true to size. The material is incredibly soft, lightweight, and it flows nicely over problematic areas. The sleeve hemline fell approximately an inch and a half above the bend of my elbow. The lowest part of the curved hemline fell past the apex of my thighs. For reference, I am five feet, seven inches tall. Upon further inspection, there weren’t any failed seams or loose, hanging threads. This top is nice enough to wear to church or an office-type environment. It would also look nice at a luncheon with friends, shopping, going to the mall, walking the dog, or simply hanging out with your family at home. It can be paired with jeans, leggings, capris, shorts, dress pants, skirts, blazers, or sweaters. Don’t forget the shoes when completing your ensemble: sandals, flats, heels, boots, or sneakers. Machine washable with like colors in cold water. Do not bleach. Hang to dry. I genuinely like this top. It has quickly become one of my favorites. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a garment you can dress up or wear casually.

Not a very flattering top. Looks good on the model but when you get the larger sizes with a larger person, it's way too billowy/flowy, kind of makes you look like you're expecting a baby. Size was fine just didn't care for the style on me. I'll probably just wear it around the house as a pajama top or something.

I ordered "Coupled Pink", and love the neutral dusty pink color, which looks like the photo. The fabric is soft and doesn't wrinkle easily. I ordered my usual size, and it's true to size, with a loose, flattering fit. This can be dressed up for business casual, or down. $19.99, at the time I ordered, seems reasonable for a work top.

I really like this top and am looking forward to wearing it this spring. The fabric is soft and drapey. It doesn't cling at all. The neckline is not too low or wide. I do wish the sleeves were a little longer. The one negative is that the sizing chart is useless. It doesn't even include bust measurements, but it does have waist measurements. Not sure how that makes sense. I ordered an 18, but probably could have gotten away with a size 16. Other than the wonky sizing chart, this top is a definite keeper.
