I would rate the item a 5/5 but there’s a few flaws with the case. It’s not a dealbreaker or anything but something that could be improved on if it ever gets another improvement. First thing I would say is that it’s really sturdy and the case does feel thick and smooth. Would probably protect the switch with a small fall. I do like how there’s a good grip with the joycons but the face cover for the right joycon is a bit loose but the left side is all good since it doesn’t move at all. My only issue was just the right joycon since it does click together but doesn’t want to stay snug with it. The back side cover to use the kickstand kinda limits the movement or doesn’t want to open at all but I don’t really use this feature at all so it doesn’t really bother me. Just an heads up for those who end up using the kickstand. Overall it’s all good and fits the oled like a glove with a few flaws. I recommend it for those who want to show off their design of their switch or decorate it with stickers. 10/10 will buy another one soon for my other switch.

For the price, this is a pretty good case. It does securely hold the switch OLED if you install it correctly. At first, I thought it would not hold on to the switch, as in flimsy and loose. But then I realized that (and this is important) where the speakers are on the switch, there is a spot for the case to pop on and hold. If you don't do this correctly, you're going to just assume it doesn't fit. I can also confirm that while it is a snug fit, it does infact dock in the OLED dock pretty well. Overall, for the price, it's a 5/5. It also came with a glass screen protector, joystick grips, and some stickers with dogs and cats. (My daughter liked them) The only negative thing I'll say is that I've never owned a clear case that didn't eventually turn yellow. But this is normal. (And mine is still clear btw. This is just standard info I would want to know for the first time if I were buying a clear case for the first time.

Not impressed with this at all. It's so flimsy and it doesn't fit properly on the oled switch. I ended up taking it off and getting a different cover instead. The case won't stay on the console portion, and you can't use the kickstand properly because the hinged part doesn't click into place. The joycons fit fine but they were really hard to put on and take off, I was afraid it would damage my switch. It's cute that comes with some stickers, but the case itself is not worth the price.

IT'S FOR THE OLED. Now that thats out of the way, I bought the case for my personal switch OLED switch and it gives it a nice feel to it. The joy con's are completely inside a shell that covers it all. Pros: *great shell feel. *Does not obstruct the general feel of the buttons or the triggers Cons: *The release button behind the joycons can be a bit of a pain to press, since the shell becomes flush with most of the buttons and triggers. Still functional, but I wish they could have added something to assist in releasing the joycons. Console: simple design that wraps around the screen. Gives a good access to SD cars, game slot, and even allows for the kick stand to work as intended. Pros: *kick stand functions as intended *Allows for the screen to be fully accessible and does not feel like it's in the way, similar to Otter Box cases on cellphones. Cons: *Case is more like a "clip on" that with time will loosen up and not clip on correctly or hold on. *When placed on the dock, the case adds with to the switch, giving it a bit of a tight feel when placing on dock or removing dock. *There is a bit of lose connection between the dock and switch because of the case. This will make you press down on the switch to better sit in the dock. Still charges and connects, but feels like it's not in correctly. With all that said, the product is still really good for what it's for. Even if docking the switch feels a bit rough, it's not stopping it from connecting and working. Again, it is for an OLED switch, and not the origiona.

The quality is fine, but definitely still feels cheap in the hand. I’d like to give it a higher rating but the front plate for the right joycon isn’t sized correctly and comes completely loose. I don’t mind too much and I already put stickers on it so I wouldn’t be able to exchange it but I’d recommend buying more than one to make sure you get one that actually fits correctly all around.
