  • Nice Skates but runs too small/narrow
The skates are very well made. Unfortunately, one boot arrived with smudges and it really shows up on the white leather. I recommend a different color for that reason. Secondly they run a bit small and narrow. I ordered the largest woman’s size, so the next size up is a male size skate that comes only in black…Bummer! Skates just arrived today. So, I have plenty of time to return. I really wanted pretty skates but may need to get black ones that are a male size…ugh. ... show more

  • Dashed hopes
Size: 10 Color: Marawa Rose Gold
I was so excited when I lucked up on these cuties for $74. Unfortunately, I’ve since returned them. They were comfy initially, but after a few wears they began to hurt my baby toes badly. I imagine they would loosen eventually, but since they aren’t leather, who knows when that will be. They were also a bit heavy. I gave up skating years ago due to uncomfy rentals, so I wasn’t trying to go back down that path. They seem to be fairly decent beginner skates, but I want something leather and a bit more intermediate. ... show more

  • Not for wide width
Pretty, but they are tight and uncomfortable on the sides of feet if you have feet with a width of 4” or more. Still debating if i should return, i dont know what roller skates will be good for my wide width feet, maybe i will size up but im not sure that will help with width.

  • Decent beginner skate, has some problems.
Depending on how you plan to use these and what sort of skating you'll be doing, these are a pretty decent beginner skates. They are good for indoor and outdoor, and they got the job done for me until they started breaking after a few months. The boot is glued together and came apart at the heel, which was a critical issue and eventually led to me replacing them. The plate is a cast aluminum that is sturdy but heavy. Foot and leg fatigue is real with these skates after an hour or two of skating. The plate isn't sized right for the boot either, with the front wheels being 3/4 of an inch too far forward from the ball of the foot and the back wheels being too far back, making manuals and spins a bit harder. The toe stop is just a basic, fixed toe stop, and the kingpins (10°ish) have two cushions each from a similar material as the toe stop. The wheels are soft enough for outdoor and can work indoors as well. The roll of the wheels and bearings is decent, and probably enough for most beginners. The boot is snug without being super stiff and has a comfy insole. Unfortunately, it was not secured to the heel well and separated on both of my skates when strained on the edges, like from doing bubbles. I would only recommend this for someone with a budget of $100 or less who wants a pair of beginner skates that are good for indoor or outdoor, but are not looking to use them more than a couple of times per month and don't plan to get seriously into skating. Otherwise, I think other brands offer skates at a similar price point with fewer cut ends. ... show more

  • They’re soooo prettyyy!
Size: 8 (US Men's 6, Women's 8) M Color: Lilac Glitter
I usually don’t make reviews but I noticed that there’s limited photos of people wearing the lilac glitter style of these roller skates! They’re absolutely beautiful and my first pair of skates and I couldn’t be happier. I got a size 8 and there’s some room but they’re still comfy and roll very well. ... show more

  • Best Purchase Ever!
I skated up until I was in my late teens and decided to give it another whirl some 30 years later. After doing a lot of research, I went with the Impala's and have had no regrets whatsoever. I noticed that there were less expensive skates out there, but do yourself a favor and stay away from those imitation knock-offs with the unrecognizable names. These are beautiful skates and break in really nicely. Ideal for a beginner or for the more advanced skater. I love them so much that I just bought myself a second pair in a different pattern/color. If you're searching for skates that are 'middle of the road' cost-wise with excellent performance, these are definitely the skates for you! ... show more

  • ever see a 40 year old middle age woman roller skate?
Size: 8 Color: Marawa Rose Gold
I never went roller skating as a kid and although I took my children occasionally when they were younger, the last time I went I fell over and took some of the kids with me, leaving an impressive roller skate bruise in my back. Fast forward to me leveling up to 42, being in a pandemic, and watching roller skating videos on instagram and here I am, buying my first pair. They came beautifully wrapped and as I tore into the package I got a little overwhelmed. Determined to get over it, I strapped my feet in, ready to roll. I also sent all my kids to the families house so I had to witnesses to what I am positive would be one of the most mortifying experiences of my life. I didn't fall once. granted there are plenty of walls, tables and couches to crash into in my home, I am very proud it took me 3 days before my first tumble. The skates are amazingly well build, sturdy, and a beautiful color. I did manage to scuff them already, but that is the cost of the learning curve. It has been 1 month and while I am still not ready to hit the concrete, I do pretty well getting around my house. In the morning as I move from my bed to my work office I strap on the skates and use them to get around the house all day for practice. I would recommend these skates to anyone, of any age. I did buy a size up, FYI and my daughters uses them too (waiting for a color she likes to come back in stock). ... show more
