So this was the lowest price point for an entry skate and I am thrilled. The boot is so comfortable and easy to break in even though the material is synthetic. I skate around my apartment so far as I master the basics and I love these. I will venture outside with them soon but for now they are great. The only mistake I made was getting a lace caught on the hook and it created a slight tear. The wheels are bouncy and roll easily and they look really nice. I went with bigger shoe size and it fits perfectly. Toe stop is high quality. Wheels are great for sidewalk. Sturdy boot. I would recommend to anyone. Its worth the additional $30.

    • Size down!!
First of all, don’t listen to the reviews that say to size up or if you are a half size to size up, I did this and the skate was HUGE on me, so much room in the toe box, not a snug fit at all. The people who think sizing up was a good idea have probably broken their necks by now because your skate should be snug, not overly comfortable. I wear a size 8.5 or a 9 in shoes, more leaning to an 8.5, 9s are normally a bit loose. So this skate in a 9 was way too big, but I also ordered an 8 in the holographic skate and it fits perfect. Now, for this particular company I ordered from- I order from amazon all the time and never had such an odd return. I had to submit a “return request” and give the company two business days. I submitted it on Thursday and haven’t heard anything yet, though a true 2nd business day will be the end of the day Monday, so I’m hoping I hear from them and they don’t make it difficult or try to charge me to return- I didn’t notice any warning about returns at all. These skates are going for $150-$300 on eBay due to the skate shortage so I suppose I could make a profit, but I’d rather deal with that. Anyway, do yourself a favor and if you normally wear a half size, size down. ... show more

Cheap vinyl construction for the boot. The trucks are not good quality, the axles are terrible. No washers on the hanger side or the nut side of the axles. Wheels do not spin free. Bearings are garbage ZZ sealed, no option to service, clean or lubricate. Wheels are not high quality. Synthetic boot is stiff and not comfortable, poor padding, this is not a great option.
