Consumable item, use it and throw it away
Style: 2"-PH2-5PCS
This type of bits are consumable items that aren't expected to be great. On a construction site the craftsmen use these bits for a short while and when they 'cam out' that are just discarded and a new bit put in it's place. There are a lot of companies making this type of disposable drill attachment bits and none are exemplary in my experience. I have become a firm believer in using a type of bit called Torx, which looks like an asterisk. Now this is a product that has earned my respect. Phillips bits are not a good choice, but are so common they're hard to get away from. I never use them if I don't have to. Nobody uses a straight screwdriver anymore. That is ancient history. I will use these Phillips bits as long as necessary and throw them away when they strip out. Don't waste your time using this type of fastener if you an avoid them. Lastly, there is another bit that is square tipped and it works like a demon also. Take it from me, if you're making the choice of good quality products to build with, leave the 'old stuff' behind for new home DIY'ers. You'll get much more productivity and satisfaction with better hardware.

Holds up well

Still working with the first bit after about 3 weeks. They hold up well. I haven't had any issues with gripping screws and they fit the screws well.
