Relatively simple to install and the quality of the plastic is good. However, the screws provided for mounting the light fixture plate onto the mounting box didn't fit. You may have to drill a bigger hole for the screws to go all the way through.

Had to modify it to make it fit. My siding is 3.5 inch. Going to caulk and paint it same color as siding. Looks great and was 1/2 price of other products.

I couldn't be happier. The only downside, minor, were the screws provided to mount the light base. I couldn't get them tight enough, then the heads stripped out. I replaced them with some self tapping screws I had. All good now. I'm very happy with the outcome. Glad I bought the big one. I will be buying another one this spring for a motion light I'm gonna put on our garage at our cottage. ... show more

Dimensions weren't 6.9 inches wide was more like 6.7inches since it has a bevel. The light I was mounting was about 6.8 inches so it had a little overhang but I sprayed these white and used white caulk and you can't even tell. The brackets fit nicely against my siding and was easy to mount too. Overall better mounting system than whatever I could find at home depot/Lowes ... show more

This worked well and looks good once I got it up. Unfortunately the screws did not seem to work correctly and I had to go pick up some different ones. I had a unique problem where the previous lights were installed directly onto a box inside the siding, so I had to add holes on the outside of the original location. This seemed to work fine and with some caulking to prevent bugs from getting inside, they came out quite nice. I hope they last as long as my vinyl siding! ... show more
