Not sure what stuffing they used but if you buy any of the memory foam 10lb packages that are all over amazon, you will need more. I ordered 50lbs to be sure when I read 40lbs as I didn't want this getting messed up for xmas morning. Since it's so big had nowhere to hide it and had to stuff it at midnight on xmas eve. 50lbs not only fit inside but wasn't even enough to fill it to the level shown in the pictures. My son is obsessed with pokemon and asked for this as a gift. I was completely aware that this was just a case, would require filling, and it could rip. This took 100 Oz of polyester fiber fill and at least 6 pillows to get this stuffed. Looked pretty good when it was done and very comfortable. 2 weeks later, its neck and underarm stitching came undone. I'm handsewing but I'm expecting it to rip again. It was an acceptable price but the quality could be better. Buyer needs to take into consideration how much filling it will take. It was a good way to make use of extra pillows we had but for others - it could cost more than double of what you paid for it if you have to buy all the supplies. My wife loves Snorlax and we were disappointed by the size of the official Snorlax bean bag product that we had seen in Gamestop. This thing is HUGE, the product pictures are not misleading at all. It's well made, though this is for comfort and cuddles and I would not throw this thing around too much just to be safe. This is partly because we needed to put 25 pounds of filling in this thing and you should keep that in mind when assessing how much you're spending on this big guy. We used shredded memory foam rather than your typical "beans" because we wanted a softer feel and we're really happy with the results. Definitely worth the investment for us and I highly recommend this Pokemon! More than happy with my purchase, was NOT expecting it to be as large ALL AROUND as it was. Went to Hobby Lobby and bought 5 boxes of 5 pound pillow fill. Thinkin it could have maybe used 7. No biggie. Guess it depends on how much fluff you want it to have. 5 ⭐️
