Bought these for a road trip on my Harley. Glad I did! Left out in the morning and it was snowing. Temperature never got above 40 degrees the entire trip. Road 8 hours comfortable all day. On the return trip home I had them on and road thru a tropical storm for 4 hours and then 50 degree weather. Stayed dry and warm! Great pants.

I love these pants. They are the reason I was able to ride in temps down to -10C. The cold was never felt. I feel protected with the fabric quality and the built-in armor. The side zippers are great and allow me to put the pants on and off with boots on. I’ve learned to unzip them all the way up before doing any donning. The inside loops are nice for hanging them up. The downside: front hook and snap fasteners are flimsy and get undone at the slightest pull, so I’m taking a star off for that. I’ve got a pair of suspenders that work well with these pants and I’ve been happy October through April (2024-25), though I had to take most December and January off for the harsh Wisconsin winter. I feel like these pants were able to extend my riding season. I’ve ridden in these pants in a downpour and found out that they are definitely not waterproof. My crotch got wet. I suppose that means that they are breathable, so can’t have everything. When I ride in wet weather, I put rain pants over. Overall: I would buy them again, but I wish the fasteners were beefier and that they were waterproof.

I like the insulation and the fact that they are rainproof. Unfortunately, they are rather tight. You cannot wear them on top of pants, and even when worn without jeans, they are still tight, particularly around the knees.

These fit extremely well and are well made/durable. They have all the little details covered such as, a little hook at the fastening button you hook into to keep the pants closed on your waist so you can get everything situated before you button up, the two way pants zipper that ables you to get easily into the pants even with boots on. They simply go everywhere, ATV/motorcycle riding, snow blowing, skiing, if its snowy and windy and super cold, these are the pants you want, they've got you covered.

So I only wore these once riding in 47 degree weather on a very windy day. They did a good job stopping the wind and keeping my legs warm. Hopefully I never find out about the protection in a crash. They are true to size and felt comfortable. The zipper pockets seemed good too

These over pants run a little small. I returned XL for XXL with no problem. On the plus side. Easy on over riding boots . Excellent wind protection !! Side zippers can be grabbed with medium thick gloves. Front zipper is easy to use for quick restroom breaks. I use a heated pant liner so overall warmth was very very good (25F). Knee protection is good but, it does hinder movement. For touring I put them in the trash. For adventure riders or off road they felt about right. Leg length goes to boot when seated and did not ride up at speed. No binding or saddle issues. Down side. There is very little extra room in the crotch for movement. Swinging a leg over a Goldwing was troublesome. Waist clasp and snap are marginal but, they do work. I would have rather see two large sturdy snaps. A Velcro strap addition would be nice. The Velcro on waist for tighter fit is okay. Not needed in my case but a nice feature. Overall, these are a nice winter over pant. If not for the limited motion in the crotch I would have given it a five. I never, ever plan on seeing their road impact effectiveness.
