Got these for pirate weekend at our local Renaissance Faire, and they look great! Arrived in brand new condition, nothing loose or broken. Very comfortable. I did have to use a leather punch to make extra holes on the straps so I could tighten them more, but that is just for my own comfort because I have skinny legs. Ha! These are great. Love the style. They seem well built and sturdy (only worn once so far). The material has a nice natural feel to it, and the color is beautiful; a bit darker than I expected but was actually closer to what I was looking for so it worked out nicely. The fit is accurate; I wear a 7 normally. They run a bit narrow, so a wider foot or calf may want a half size up (I bought a 7, but they're a bit tight on one side so a 7½ may have been better fitting for my likes). Great for their price !! Just wanted a pair of high end boots that weren’t platforms and got exactly what I paid for, the leather feels a bit thin but like I said great for their price. They fit perfectly around my calves and have good stability:)

Really cool looking and comfy. Zipper side adjustable calf fit. Soft and good quality materials. The guys at home saw my boots and loved em. They call them my apocalypse zombie combat boots. I will probably put shoe insole support in them since I’m older and all. Just for extra arch support. AAA rating good value. An on another note. If u like boots like doc’s these are just as cool and comfy. doc’s aren’t the same as they used to be as far as quality. So yes save that money and get a pair of these. My friend sent me this and liked em but I ordered doc’s. I sent the doc knee highs back due to poor quality. ... show more

Dropped from 5 to 3 stars. I got the same size as I did last time. The part that holds the foot is the same size, but I had to tighten the laces all the way. These are fashion boots, so you have to be careful not to tear the boot when lacing up. This doesn't bother me as I don't use the laces after the initial adjustment. My fear is when I break in these boots the boot will be too big. There's no more room to tighten it. There's is also a lot of wiggle room in the ankles for some reason. This was not an issue previously. I loved my last pair, but the quality of this second pair leaves me disappointed. Edit :Added another photo. This second pair didn't last very long. The heel blew out. 3 to 1 star. What happened to the quality? ... show more

I wanted to love these boots so badly but I'm disappointed. The calf area is huge and sticks out and gaps when you wear it. Even the ankle area is loose and ill fitting. The foot area fit just right, so I had the correct size, but just don't have a nice fit overall like the photos. The sole and heel quality seemed fine. But I will be returning. Wish they were made better because the style itself is beautiful! ... show more
