The shoes are light but could use a little thicker padding or tread to improve comfort on small rocks. These shoes as is would be best used on a clean highly maintained walking or jogging trail but not in places that nearby rocks end up on the path.

I competed recently in a Spartan 5k. Completed 17/20 obstacles. Shoe had great mud traction climbing walls and on steep inclines. I have flat feet and the shoe was comfortable. I don’t have one complaint with this purchase.
