Carbon fiber looks great & authentic. The fit & finish is top notch considering it's under a hundred dollars. The tape wasn't pre-installed but was included in the packaging with some wipes. I opted for my own bought 3M tape, atleast this way I know I'm doing everything the right way. Install was easy and the curvature of the spoiler is perfect to the vehicle. No edge lifting at the end of the install, probably because I wiped everything clean, preheated the surface and used plenty of 3M tape. Kept the support tape a little over 24hrs and after removing had zero issues with adhesion, specially those infamous corners everyone else had problems with.. I added this to change my my Model Y from all the others on the street and boy did this do the trick. I good cheap product. The double sided tape does not come pre-installed. I added it and currently use it. I can see where it lifted in spots. I will take off and re-install with some proper 3M double sided tape. Don't do it twice like me. I've got a smaller condo garage and when the door is open the hatch doesn't have a lot of room to open. I learned the hard way that it's easy to chip the paint when the hatch hits the garage door. This was the second spoiler I bought after returning the first. It's just a molded piece of plastic, but this one has more style than the straight edge versions and I love how it looks, plus it fit better than the other one to the shape of my Model Y, and now I know at least the paint is protected if it hits the garage door, but I've also adjusted how far it opens so that's not a major problem anymore (just hold in that open/close button on the hatch for a few seconds when it's at the level you want it to open and you'll hear a confirmation beep). ... show more

Came in very loose cardboard, could have bended. Surprised to see that double tape was not already fixed and just One teeny tiny wipe to clean area?? After initial surprises and with the help of a measuring tape installation was easy. No edge Gap. Spoiler looks sturdy so far.

Got the matte black and I'm glad I did. The design to me is way better than the oem one while still not being too over bearing. Install was pretty easy and I used the provided adhesive which appears to hold down pretty well but time will tell. Great price and solid spoiler
