Most of the smaller mills / router bits I have used come from the world of PCB manufacturing, and these seem to be of the same quality and provenance. As anyone who has used this types of tools knows, they are VERY easy to break, so the low cost of this set is appreciated. The larger sizes (making up most of the set) could be used in something like a Dremel, the smallest ones are not going to hold up to freehand drilling. The cases this come in are actually useful and don't take up a lot of real estate in the tooling drawer, so that's a bonus.

This 40-pack of end mills contain various bits for an ER11 collet. The 1/8" shank bits fit my ER11 CNC machine perfectly. Each of the 4 types of bits each come in their own 10-pack small plastic protective case. They are only generically labelled so I had to put my own nomenclature on them for identification. Since these are small end mills, typically one can go through a number of bits quickly, but these are holding up rather well. Note that I am mostly working on soft and hard woods. The various types really suit a number of cutting needs, so this is a great value kit for a CNC user needing this size.

These are great looking, and sharp, 1/8" (3mm) CNC bits. I will be using them to CNC some 1/4" (6mm) acrylic and 1/2" (12mm) MDF. The end result will be templates for the guitars I'm making. I will also be using the finer tipped bits to route smaller cavities in wood for inlays. The two sets (gold and blue) are a good variety of widths. The shorter bits are ten of each of the two sizes. They are packaged in nice plastic packs that snap closed and stay closed. There is no accidentally opening and dropping bits all over the floor. It will be nice to have CNC'd templates to form the pieces, rather than drawn diagrams spray glued to the wood. Yeah, I was old school... Seriously, this is a great set of bits and I hope to get a lot of use from them.

You're into CNC. You know how much it costs and (possibly) what it can earn. You also know how easy it is to snap an end mill - especially when you're still learning. These things are LESS THAN A DOLLAR EACH!!! This set is so affordable that the quality almost doesn't matter. If you have a 1/8" collet and do fine detail work in materials that are softer than steel, this is a no-brainer.
