Does not fit it is the same length as the stock and definitely would not attempt to use it to replace my tow hook. As this is just for looks and not function all I can say is a you should pass on this and find one 36-41mm shorter.

Rusts super fast, sticks out pretty far and doesn’t lock properly. About a month I having it on my Mk7 it wouldn’t tighten and just kept spinning.

In regards to the appearance, they look great, I have no complaints, however when it comes to functionality, thats where I scratch my head, I dont think this product will actually be good for what they are for, all looks aside, During installation I had to install a second nut in order to tighten because the threads were crossed towards the end of the stud. Not only that but when bolting them on to the car, you could feel the threads giving way, and as I continued to turn them until they finally tightened. If for show they are fine, but if you are actually looking to use them, I recommend looking elsewhere, I genuinely believe they wont hold up. ... show more
