Looks great, no issues but for future customers. It comes with a switch and i wasnt sure what it was for until i installed them and tried it. Its to switch between standard blinker and the sweeping light blinker. It came set to the sweeping light. Very happy so far

I had smoked taillight lenses on my 2011 G55, but they were on the dim side, so I tried the set of these. The instructions were clear, although the lenses did not initially fit into the openings because the resistors were mounted to the back of the lenses and made them too deep. I had to dismount the resistors from the new lenses and use a double-stick tape to stick them to a different spot on the back of the lenses so that they would fit into the openings in the car. The screw holes in the triangular mounting adapters were also slightly too small and I had to “seat” the screws into the adapters by spinning them at high speed with a screw gun to melt them into place. The electrical connections were also not very tight, and were exposed to each other, so I had to wrap each of them with electrical tape. Once installed they look great and were much brighter than the previous set. So I am giving them 4 stars for having to modify the location of the resistors, modify the size of the screw holes in the andapters, and having to wrap the electrical connections. ... show more

These headlights are 100x brighter than the original tail lights in my 2003. Reuses the original tail light gaskets, so the fit back to the car was not as tight. There may be a gap here and there between the gasket and the body of the car, which could be an issue if you drive in the rain. I have heard that the gasket will expand as it gets warmer ... show more

Do not let the price fool you. These are well made direct fit plug and play lights that work. I have had other LED units to replace the ancient G tail lights. These have been the best. The units are sealed with color coded leads that can directly plug into the Mercedes harness (I joke as the electrical in this thing is really spade connectors and electrical tape). I replaced the original connectors with wire pack connectors. The lights work great and do not trigger the fussy CanBus system. ... show more

Update October 1, 2021: ijdmtoy does not back up their products. They offer a 90 day warranty because they know the quality is bad. Based on my experience with another one of their products, which is failing after 6 months, and their failure to correct it outside of 90 days, I have no confidence in this product, or any other product they sell. You get what you pay, however, ijdm products are not cheap, and should be able to last more than 6 months. Don't purchase unless you want a temporary, throw-away product. The 90 day warranty is a clue of the quality. With this product, the reuse of the factory seals, is not optimal, and am starting to see moisture inside. Install was easy enough with provided instructions. Reason for 4 stars: You need to re-use the stock rubber surround, which was tricky because if pushed in fully, will not provide a good seal (i.e. no seal), so it took some trial and error to get the seal set properly. As previously stated, the wiring harness is spade connectors, so be sure to insulate and weather proof properly. Stock design has these connections internal to the assembly, so better protected. This design keeps the connections outside and susceptible to the elements. Other than than those 2 (hopefully) minor issues, they're a great modern looking update.
