Absolutely no problems. Easy to install, no hassle wiring. People complain about no instructions, cheap wiring. Wasn't my experience at all. Tapped the power into my high beams and boom. Outstanding light.

This is a decent light for the money, gives a non-functioning hood scoop a purpose so that's a plus, and it looks cool. The biggest hassle I found with it was the wiring, I did get an aftermarket switch that is a lot cooler than the one they give you, the problem I came across was I couldn't get the switch light to turn off when the truck was off and the light was off, so I just had to disconnect the ground wire from the switch harness and stuff the extra ground wire up in the fender out of the way, even though the switch light doesn't light up, the led bar does. I'm no expert electrician so maybe soon I'll ask someone with wiring experience. Hope this helps!! ... show more

3rd Gen Tacoma ... Great place for a light bar. No glare back from the hood. Easy kit to install ... light bar is well hidden from view. Took less than an hour to install.

Awesome product made of solid materials and well constructed. Easy to install but the one thing I did different was use another harness that I felt was a better install. I installed it, wasn’t bad, had a pro shop wire it up using a Scoop light switch I bought online, I didn’t use the switch supplied. Nice light.

I like the light for its function in the 'mock' hood scoop on the Tacoma. However, for a $100 I expected better. First it doesn't have any instructions so you just have to figure it out on how to take your scoop apart to mount it. 2d, the 'special' mounts for the bar are no different than any other light bar included mounts and it actually makes the light bar sit high. I had to flip the mount on its side to allow the light bar to sit flat on the base leaving a large gap between the mount and the plastic scoop base. The light looks much cleaner this way but don't overtighten the mount on the bottom or else it will start to bow the bottom of the plastic. I thought about using washers to fill the gap but I didn't have enough at the time and I didn't want it to look like crap because you can still see all the hardware through the vent if you look closely. The light itself is bright and again is a great concept. Just think I could've found a similar solution that is a quarter of the price and maybe even a longer bar to fill more of the scoop. But I like you probably read alot of reviews on this and everyone raved about it. Be honest guys so others (like me) know what to expect and can consider something that is cheaper. ... show more
