  • Straight Forward COVID Test With Quick Results Straight Forward COVID Test With Quick Results
Color: Orange
This test is identical to the tests my wife and I took to verify that we were COVID Negative upon our arrival to the UK. In this case we took the tests before heading to a Thanksgiving gathering just to make sure we did not have an asymptomatic infection. There are no gimmicks, requires no registration of the test results, and does not require "interpretation" by a smart phone app. The process is simple. Swab both of your nostrils as indicated in the instructions, swirl the swab in the small vials of solution provided, place the cap on the vial, and squeeze three drops of the vial into the lateral flow test. You'll have your results within 15 minutes. The photos show how to read the results as well as both of our negative test results. Easy peasy! Each kit has two tests. We ordered a couple more kits for future use just to be sure even though we are both vaccinated and boosted. ... show more

  • Easiest accurate test out there.
Color: Orange
Highly recommended. Easy to use antigen test, and, in my experience, accurate. I was tested at work by PCR and the iHealth test always corroborated the negative PCR results. When I could not get the PCR, and I had mild flu-like symptoms, this test confirmed it was COVID. Probably Omicron (based on the timing of my infection and that wave). When my 5 days of mild symptoms subsided, I tested again and was still positive. Day 11, negative. The iHealth tests showed stronger then weaker and weaker signals then none. This gave me confidence they were quantitative, more than just positive and negative. Being vaccinated and boosted gave me the greatest reassurance that I would not be hospitalized or dead, but the iHealth tests gave me reassurance that I had no more active virus and I could come out of isolation. My family stayed negative throughout, and the tests helped me know when I could emerge from my isolation with confidence. Published studies suggest I was probably not shedding much live virus for the later stages, but the iHealth antigen test took the guesswork out of when I could rejoin my family without any concern at all. One more thing I liked about the iHealth test - it was robust enough that I could do a throat swab AND a nasal swab to be sure I would not get a false negative test. If I was producing Sars-CoV-2, I wanted to KNOW. So I *gently* stroked the *sides* of the back of my throat, and gently stroked my uvula (that hanging-down thing at the back of your throat), with the sides of the swab, then I swabbed each nostril as instructed. If there was virus around, I wanted to be sure it was on the sample. Anyway, I was concerned that throat mucus or salivary enzymes might compromise the test. It seemed they did not. The test was highly positive when I was symptomatic (mild sore throat, mild headache), then when I sampled the same way each time, it was less and less positive. The fact I swabbed my throat and nostrils, and still came up negative, made me quite confident I was virus-free. I was glad I had the iHealth test to take the guesswork out of knowing when I was no longer shedding virus. ... show more

  • A great product when it’s not expired
Color: Orange
I’ve ordered these multiple times having a large family. When they aren’t expired, they are very reliable. We’ve had multiple positive results that align with the doctors office and our symptoms. No issues with the test themselves. Easy to use and understand. BUT…as many people have mentioned, we’ve received expired tests or close to expiration. We’ve attempted to use them anyway and they didn’t work at all. Couldn’t even get the control line to show up. Then when you need new ones, it’s not a same day or next day order. So by the time you receive the tests you really question if it matters to even know if you are positive. It would be great to stock up. I am very excited that the new tests I received today had a new squeeze bottle that is easier to use and an extended shelf life. I’m hopeful this means the company has heard our complaints and has found a solution. In a couple months I will order more and check the date and if I can see they are done sending expired product I would be happy to move to 5 stars. Would really like to see more availability…same day or next day purchase. But at least longer shelf life would allow people to keep some on hand for immediate use ... show more

  • Testing sites all booked and home tests sold out.. so as usual, Amazon to the rescue! Testing sites all booked and home tests sold out.. so as usual, Amazon to the rescue!
Color: Orange
My son had a cold over the weekend so had to stay home from school Monday per the school Covid precautions of returning to class 24h after symptom resolves and no need to test. So I sent him back to school Tues, no problem…. However, Tuesday (yesterday) I started to feel a sore throat and stuffy nose and by mid day I couldn’t taste anything. I tried the spiciest thing I could find and could feel the spice on my tongue couldn’t taste it at all. I couldn’t even taste DayQuil. My son and I are both immunized and I’m boosted but I work in healthcare with pregnant moms so I felt the need to test just in case to protect the patients from exposure. Also, a large part of my office has recently tested positive for Covid… We are all triple vax’d so we have to test even with minimal symptoms so we can protect our patients.. Most have just a sore throat and lethargy or a runny nose or body aches but it’s still important to know so we can protect our pregnant patients and their unborn babies who are at a higher risk from exposure to Covid. So I went online to schedule a local test…. Nothing. No availability in the next few days for a test nearby…. Ok…. So I tried to find a home test nearby at rite aid or Walgreens or cvs.., … all sold out. I had ordered the free government ones a couple weeks ago but they haven’t yet arrived. I was about to give up when I decided to try Amazon. They had several in stock to deliver next day! Awesome! We’ve had people in the office test negative until day 3-4 of symptoms but I decided to test today (day 2) anyway and I’ll test again In 2 days. The test was easy to perform, painless and results are in 15min. It said to swab each nostril for 15 seconds but I swabbed and spun and swirled and scraped for a full minute on each side to prevent a false negative. No discomfort whatsoever. So far I’m negative.., yay!! I’ll attach a photo. ... show more

  • Reliable, Quick, and Reassuring
Color: Orange
Reliable, Quick, and Reassuring I’ve used a number of at-home COVID tests since the pandemic started, and the iHealth kit has become one of my go-to choices. The packaging is clean and well thought out, and everything you need comes right in the box—two complete tests, swabs, solution vials, and the test cards. The swabs are soft-tipped and non-invasive, so there’s no discomfort like the deeper tests I’ve had done in clinics. The instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. From swabbing to adding the drops to the test card, the whole process is simple and takes just a couple of minutes. Results are ready in about 15 minutes, and the test lines are clear to read. I especially appreciate that the manufacturer also has an app that helps guide you step by step if you want a little extra reassurance you’re doing things correctly. Accuracy-wise, I’ve found this test to be very consistent. When I had symptoms and later confirmed with a PCR, the results matched. On another occasion when I just needed peace of mind before seeing family, the negative test gave me confidence. The box is compact, so it’s easy to keep a pack in the medicine cabinet or bring along when traveling. I do wish the expiration dates were a bit farther out, since stockpiling isn’t as practical, but that seems true for most rapid tests. Bottom line: A dependable and easy-to-use rapid COVID test that provides results quickly without any discomfort. A smart choice to keep on hand for travel, gatherings, or just reassurance when symptoms pop up. ... show more

  • Disappointed at First, Soon Satisfied
Color: Orange
It was imperative that I have an accurate reading the same day I ordered these items, and I wanted to have spare tests for the future. The expiration dates on the back of the box showed that the items were already out of date. However, these dates were on stickers that were placed over the previous expiration dates (dates the FDA had extended), and looking these original dates up gave me a better expiration date according to the FDA lists, but still dates that are going to expire shortly. The other problem is that the liquid had evaporated so much in the older of the two test boxes I decided to use that I had to use both liquid tubes from the one box to ensure an accurate test, which means I won't be able to use the second test in that box (so, I basically paid double for one test). Needless to say, my confidence was pretty much shot between the dates and the inadequate amount of liquid, so even though I got a negative result I went to my local pharmacy to have them perform a test (it was negative there, too). The test is somewhat easy to use, although the large sheet of directions can be overwhelming at a glance, and, while the video on Amazon is helpful (and entertaining), there were additional details you would need to know (for instance, that is how I knew I didn't have enough liquid with one tube to perform the test accurately) that aren't given in the video. The test also requires good hand-to-eye coordination to get the liquid into the tube you will be sticking the swab in and to drop precisely 3 drops on a fairly small target on the test strip; fortunately, my husband is very good at this kind of thing. If you have shaky hands or bad hand-to-eye coordination (like I do), I think you will have a hard time with this. I had not planned to purchase this again in spite of my accurate test results and originally wrote a 1-star review because of the negative points described above, but I have since changed my rating to a 3-star review because of the vendor's proactive customer service. Someone is paying attention to the negative reviews and is prepared to make it right. I was contacted by the vendor (I had not contacted them) and they offered replacements in exchange for some basic information about the tests I purchased. The replacements came very quickly and, according to the FDA information, should not expire until sometime next year--so they will be good for quite a while. ... show more
