Whether it actually sanitizes our toothbrushes or not I cannot verify but it works wonderfully and my kid loves it! Still not sure how long it lasts between charges but I estimate the battery lasts at least a week. It is easy to install and use.

I was looking for a toothbrush holder, when I run across this, found it very interesting. I had to exchange the first one I received because the little door wasn’t functioning. I received a replacement today and it works great! I’m so glad it was just a one off defect! It’s pretty straightforward and wave of your hand in front of the little door open to get your toothbrush out , and then when you put your toothbrush back, you leave your hand in front of it again and it closes and turn the UV light on for designated time. I didn’t set it up manually, I kept the default settings that it came with. I even though I know that the fluoride and the toothpaste they use is an extremely effective antimicrobial, it makes me feel a lot better, it’s nice to know that it’s getting nice dose of UV sterilization as well. This device is nice solid plastic, the LCD screen to read, It looks really nice and my bathroom. Additionally, the LCD screen displays the time which I found very useful today while getting ready . Prior to receiving it, I was a little concerned about the aesthetics, but there was no need. It looks fine. Make an exceptional gift for the germaphobe in your life for sure! For $30 There tooth brush holders that do not have these features, that can be $20-30, so this, one with sterilizing ability, is a decent buy for sure! The one concern I have about this is the little door seems a little flimsy, and could get broken easily if someone tried to forcefully open.
