  • Excellent bike computer!
Everything works well. UI is clean and easy to navigate. Connects instantly to my cadence sensor. Screen is super bright, in fact it's way brighter than my 3.5" Binavi. Gps connection is quick and accurate. Data displays are customizable so you can use the markers you want and remove the ones you don't. I haven't used it long enough to test battery life. It uses a standard Garmin style mount that matches their lights and tail lights as well other brands products. They give you a simple plastic/rubber band stem mount. I recommend getting an out-front mount. Build quality feels solid. App has some weird quirks and wordings but once you get used to it, it's fine. I use Komoot for most of my route planning and just import to the device. Highly recommend, especially for the price. ... show more

  • Great value for a bike computer that has a lot of features.
Excellent cycling computer. Unless you are a major athlete in training, this computer has everything you need. The large screen size is visible under straight sunlight and the battery life is very good as well. I've found the mapping to be very responsive and it paired easily with my Garmin Varia radar. It is a great value. ... show more

  • Great computer for fraction of cost (nav works well)
I’ve been using the BSC500 for about a month now and it’s been great. I can easily download the GPX files from Komoot and upload them into iGPSPORT app. Takes maybe 5min from download to sending them to device and the new route shows up right on the Home Screen of the computer. The navigation has been great. Rerouting is a bit slow but does happen, and I like that when you’re coming up on a turn, the map zooms in slightly so you can more accurately see when you need to turn. It also syncs really easily with my Strava to automatically upload my rides right when I finish them. I use the auto brightness and it’s always pretty easily visible with only slight trouble when I’m very bright direct sunlight. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bike computer that doesn’t want to spend $400+ dollars (especially if you want navigation). ... show more

  • The Closest Thing to Apple Car Play in a Bike Computer
I have been using GPS bicycle computers since the very first Garmin Edge 303s rolled off the line just over twenty years ago. I have used many Garmins including the top-tier and Bryton GPS computers. This is the computer I have been looking for! It's the answer for all my needs. Much easier to set up than a Garmin--which occasionally can be a challenge. The display is beautiful and clear! I now have eyes that have 55 plus years behind them. This GPS computer does everything well and then some. It provides loud turn by turn voice directions. Much better than the beep on Garmin. It quickly connected to my Garmin radar, and the alerts were much louder which is great if you listen to music during your rides as more of us are. Remember how I compared this to Apple Car Play? I can control my music through the computer! As well, since I have a YouTube channel dedicated to mostly cycling, it can control my cameras that I shoot, so I don't have to connect my Insta360 remote to the handlebars. It also sends data to the Insta360. It's got a nice weather display as well! Going to get some hundred degree days next month on RAGBRAI.... Anyway, this computer is about a quarter of the cost of the top-tier Garmin. It's half the cost of my top-tier Bryton. While it may not have the battery life of the Bryton, the battery life compares more to the Garmin and isn't bad. Anyway, this is becoming my goto computer, which means some of my other computers will find themselves on Marketplace... You aren't going to be disappointed. I have long considered saving the money with this brand. I am glad I waited for this model as it fulfills my GPS cycling computer wishlist! ... show more

  • Excellent bike computer, fantastic price
After three years with my Wahoo Roam 2, which had been dropped a couple times and had some issues resulting from those drops, I was planning on upgrading to a newer version. When researching, I came across the BSC500. I watched a few YouTube reviews that gave it favorable remarks, and the price was SO much lower than buying a new Wahoo, so I went to the AppStore to check out reviews on the companion app. THERE, the reviews for the app were OVERWHELMINGLY negative. This almost made me decide to not take a chance on an unknown quantity. I’m glad I decided to risk it. The computer is great, and I have had ZERO problems with the app. It took me all of five minutes to create an account and get the computer connected, which seemed to be where most reviewers ran into difficulty. My device paired with my older speed and cadence sensors easily, as well as my AXS electronic shifters and my Garmin Varia. (An annoyance that never occurred on my wahoo was my shifters saying I was cross chaining, even though I only have one chainring. I was getting alerts every minute or so when I was in top gear, so I simply unpaired the BSC500 from my shifters. I have no reason to need them to be connected anyway.) Compared to my Roam, it is quicker annd easier to import strava routes into this computer. When I finish a ride, the ride is quickly exported to Strava. I love the turn by turn navigation when following a strava route. YouTube reviews are correct, however when they complain about the computer being very slow when recalculating a route on the fly when you miss a turn. This doesn’t bother me, because my Wahoo didn’t have that feature anyway. The startup time on this device is also superb. After clicking the power button, the computer is booted up and ready to use in less than ten seconds. My Roam took closer to thirty seconds. Reviewers also say they don’t like the automatic zoom feature when approaching turns, but I DO like it. It is easy to turn off, though, if you don’t want it. The pages and the customizability of the data displayed is fantastic. And the built in electronic bell is nice too. When trying this out at home before using it while riding, I was worried that it wasn’t loud enough, but in practice, it seems to work fine. Biggest problem I have with the bell is that it is somewhat clunky actually ringing it on a ride. If you tap the screen once, there will then be a bell button on the screen that pops up, but that screen is only active for about two seconds. You can also just double tap the screen to ring the bell, but the double tap needs to be timed very precisely. Not a big deal, but it’s something I hope gets improved in a software update. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase, and especially appreciate the amazing price. If I had paid considerably more for the new wahoo, and the new computer functioned exactly the same as this one, I would have been happy with what I got. Getting it for a third of the price is just a huge bonus! ... show more

  • Great experience!
This is my first item from the brand and I'm very happy with the purchase. It has cool customizable interface, very simple to use while providing all the info you need, great readability in bright sun and pretty decent battery life. GPS works great everywhere.

  • Game changing cycling computer -
What an amazing product, beats the big name brands hands down. I use it on my Massi Road bike - just sleek. Super accurate and easy to use. The touch screen is easy to use, just slide your finger from left to right (or visa versa) to see all the screen pages of information + maps. Pull down from the top shows other controls too. The new model BSC500 GPS with a color display is a game changer to my old LCD unit. Easy set-up and the app allow one to make a tone of custom changes. You add devised from the unit (cadence, heart rate, rear radar) to work with the head unit. All devices work seamlessly with the unit! Then add everything to the IGPSPORT APP under "devices" and you gain access to a bunch of other options, battery level and firmware update notifications. I add the heart rate monitor, cadence sensor and rear radar light. The rear radar light is a game changer for safety on rides - super accurate and the audio warnings are nice. ... show more

  • Low on price, but high on quality and features.
The iGPSPORT BSC500 offers an impressive feature set for its price point, delivering nearly all the functionality of a Garmin unit at approximately one-third of the cost. Users who stay within the iGPSPORT ecosystem likely will not miss any high-end features. The screen is exceptionally bright and easy to read. I paired the device with the iGPSPORT SR Mini radar taillight, which provides excellent visual and loud audible alerts as vehicles approach from behind, and again as they are passing you. I also purchased the iGPSPORT VS1800S headlight, which is still on the way. My only critique is that the brand would greatly benefit from hiring native English speakers to refine their user manuals and device user interfaces. ... show more
