They are thick, don't get holes easily (don't recommend use for yardwork or gardening q even for quick pickup or plant pruning, they aren't made for that -- garden gloves with the specific rubber tips are best for that work) these gloves do keep hands clean and sanitary when they need to be in any other household situation from dishwashing to deep cleaning to litter box sifting, clean and disinfecting. The only thing I don’t like is the powder on the inside of the gloves. It’s used to prevent sticking and mold but I wish there was another method

    • Prone to tears
I bought separate pairs of these for cleaning my bathroom and my dishes. In every pair I have had, I keep getting tears in the fingertips. I don’t have sharp fingernails. I’m not rubbing up against blades or sharp edges, and yet I kept getting holes. It has happened with all four pairs that I have had. It’s a bit of a mood damper when I’m cleaning or doing dishes and all of a sudden an entire finger is soaked in cleaning solution or gunk. I wanted to like these because they’re branded as sustainably sourced but I think I’d rather use one pair of another brand for a long time than keep having to consume these. I hope they can find a way to make them more resilient. If you’re doing extremely light work, these might be good for you. I don’t think I was doing anything heavy duty, though. ... show more

It’s important to me to know that these gloves are recyclable. I’ve been using them for years and don’t plan on giving them up anytime soon. Enjoy!

    • Long lasting and durable
Ordered these because they are sustainable and can be cut up and composted. However, these gloves are so comfy and have lasted six months before having to be replaced. I’ve just ordered my 2nd pair and will continue purchasing.
