    • Some flowers fall off here and there
This is a really pretty wreath and it looks nice hanging, however I do occasionally see some of the flowers fall off, not the whole flower but a small piece. I simply find a place to stick it back on, so it's not an issue for me, but I don't think this would work well in higher traffic areas. Nice wreath though. ... show more

Although I have a Christmas wreath I put on the outside of our door, I don't have a spring wreath. To be honest, I'd never really even thought of getting one, but I saw this one and I thought, "Why not?" So, I ordered it. The wreath arrives very compressed, and it is a little difficult to separate the branches and flowers out easily right off the bat. I think the thing to do is to let it settle if that's the right word before attempting to hang and put everything in its right place. The wreath is lightweight and weighs approximately 10.5 ounces, which does not make for a very substantial wreath. Having said that there is quite a variety of flowers on the wreath. They do resemble various wildflowers although I don't see any of them as being definitively representative of a particular genus. I'm not a plant expert so others might think differently. In use, the wreath does not look bad especially when viewed from anything but close up. Close up, it becomes a little more obvious where the shortcomings are. For example, I still have petals that will not straighten which means that some of the flowers appear misshapen. I'm not sure what all the materials are that go into making this wreath. The listing mentions silk and maple wood and certainly some of the flowers might well be silk. They are certainly made from a material. I don't know what the leaves are made from - they feel somewhat paper-like but could just as easily be polyester. Overall, I will persevere with trying to get everything straight and in its place. The reason being that it does look pretty good even the way it is. Pricewise, I do think it's a little on the expensive side for the quality received but it's not outrageously over the top either. If you want a wreath that conjures up spring rather than winter and you are prepared to put a bit of effort in, then this might well work for you. ... show more

At first, I was a little disappointed with the wreath because petals on the foam flowers were folded and flat and I thought it looked a little tacky. But I realized this was just a temporary condition from the packing. With just a little bit of primping, it was a full three dimensions and livened up quite a bit. Now, I love how it looks and it really makes the door something special. I have tried unsuccessfully to make my own wreaths using wreath forms, grapevine wreaths and foam circles, but none have come out as nice as this one. There are a great variety of sprays that work together well to form a delightful arrangement. This is made, it looks like, with a slender grapevine style form, wrapped in green and the sprigs are very securely attached with hidden wire. No bits or pieces have fallen off and it doesn't look like many will. It looks like it will last for many seasons. ... show more

Save your money. This wreath should cost $5.00. Flowers fall out, branches separate and hang down so it is never shaped correctly. I want to throw it out but it was not cheap. Move on!
