This is such a niffy item. I use an antique desk as my vanity and the way some makeup is packaged it is next to impossible to find a drawer where it fits. This is PERFECT. It is very stable and holds a variety of sizes. It streamlined and organized some difficult makeup items for me. The photo shows my vanity and the organizer is next to the lamp. I have since removed the label and there was no residue. This item is exactly what it claims to be, is a perfect fit for me, and the cost was terrific. Can't get any better than that! ... show more

I have two of these. I bought them for my excess of eyeshadow palettes (oh boy!), and they work beautifully! They hold plenty and keep them front and center, so I don’t neglect my babies! It’s nice having them in one place, staring at me as I get ready! One thing I did was buy several magnetic cases from miss a beauty “shopmissa” (at a total steal btw!), broke up many of my palettes (because I truly had an abundance!), included blushes, highlighters, and bronzers, and put those in my new stands! I’m organized! Yes, me! I also purchased a hot plate and two spatulas here on Amazon, which you can find reviews for if you check out my profile, and they helped sooo much with depotting my palettes (and making lipstick palettes)! To further organize, I bought these! They are MOST helpful in keeping my shadows accessible, which can be a problem when I forget about some of them. Out of sight, out of mind. Also, because of the pandemic. I had to start working from home, and my “vanity” was converted to my “desk.” So, I began using these for holding file folders, notebooks, etc.. since I haven’t been using makeup very often, and they work brilliantly! One fits is in a tall drawer, and the other I have up on the desk. Talk about versatile! They are well-made, sturdy, very easy to keep clean, stay out of the way, and hold all sorts of things! I’ve had mine for almost a year, and I see no signs of yellowing, breaking, chipping, etc... FYI, they are acrylic, not glass. And they still look good as new. They are a great value for the money, especially when you consider that they help me use the palettes I would otherwise likely ignore. When not in use, these are easily stored by stacking one face-down on the other and take up very little room. The capacity is great, you can even double up if your palettes are thin enough. BUT, this is not the best for round palettes. I really only have one from Urban Decay that is too pretty to tear up anyway, the colors are for my wild side, so that stays on a shelf. Regardless, most palettes have a straight edge somewhere, so I would absolutely recommend these, and I hope this helps you with your purchasing decision! ... show more

This is awesome for storing palettes. I own blush/highlighter and eye shadow palettes of various sizes and most of them look really nice in here. I love that it's very function in that it makes your palettes easier to see so you can pick up the one you need faster, but it also looks nice so it works equally well if you want to use it to display palettes you have for collecting purposes or that have a pretty case/exterior. I bought a lot of organizational products for reorganizing my makeup and I was impressed with the quality of this. It feels and looks very sturdy and looks more like premium acrylic vs. cheap plastic. I do think if you have a TON of palettes that buying a of these isn't the most efficient use of space but I like it with a smaller/normal quality of palettes. ... show more

This palette organizer is nice, simple, and sturdy. I used to have all my palettes stacked on top of each other which used to make me a bit reluctant to reach for the palettes that weren't on top, my cats also occasionally knocked them over and broke some of my shades. This is a great organizer to keep makeup palettes in sight. Out of sight, out of mind, right? So I get full use of my complete collection of colors, and never get stuck in a rut with my makeup application. I don't stress out and risk damaging makeup by shuffling things around in a stacked pile at the bottom of a drawer. It also holds a mirror for handy retrieval. The clear aspect makes it easier to see what is stored in each slot, so it saves me time while getting dressed. It feels sturdy, looks nice & neat, and sits well on a flat surface in my bathroom. It would also be useful sorting mail or bills. In fact a clever person could probably find lots of helpful ways to use this organizer. ... show more
