This skirt is super soft, super comfortable around the waist and keeps me warm. It doesn’t wrinkle at all, and (my favorite part) the pockets are big and sewn to lie flat against the front of your legs so you don’t get weird pocket bumps on your hips. I’m pretty short so it’s a little longer on me than the listing photos suggest, but it doesn’t drag or anything, and I’ve gotten compliments on it every time I’ve worn it. Will definitely be buying at least one more in another color.

I have had this skirt for a few years. I primarily wear it on colder days as it is warm and comfortable. I get so many compliments when I wear it because it looks great even on my below average height body. The material is soft and heavy and it has held up well over the years. I highly recommend this skirt. Fits as expected, but the waistband is elastic in the back so it still fits as my weight has fluctuated or if I tuck in a thicker sweater. And it has pockets!

While still adorable, the skirt is a little different from the pictures that were shown. It is long a long shirt, ankle length (I am 5'3"). The skirt fabric is a heavy, rougher polyester wool blend has small threads of yellow, red and green, which you can see if you look at the close-up images of the skirt. It also has a slight lining inside, that goes down about a third of the way inside the skirt. The fact that this is such a great quality skirt, I may hem it to get more of that midi a-line look which was pictured. There is an elastic waistband at the back of the skirt to facilitate a broader fit, but it can add a little extra rouching above the rear. This can be covered by a wide belt. That being said THE SKIRT HAS POCKETS!!! that sit flush with the fabric and are large enough to actually hold your phone.

I have many daughters and between all of us, I think we own 8 of these skirts! They are a must for the winter time! Absolutely gorgeous! Perfect length for any height. Excellent quality! Seriously, such a good price for the quality. Just enough stretch to make it fit perfectly! I had to write a review because I saw that this skirt didn’t have 5 stars?? Why? We have owned this skirt for 3 or 4 years now. It’s a favorite! Getting a new color again :)

I'm 5"5", 115 lbs. Bought S "long dark gray 711" The wool/polyester blend material is soft and thick enough without being stiff or looking cheap. I haven't wash it, will report back if it pills or shrinks, but for now it looks like good quality flannel. Color is as pictured, lines don't all coincide but the front looks centered and OK. The skirt has deep pockets and is lined. It flows nicely to below midcalf, I will have to take the hem in about 2.5-3" The back is elastic and has an invisible zipper. Very happy with the purchase, will post picture if I take one.

This is a combo review of two of their skirts I ordered. 5 stars to the brown wool skirt. This is like wearing a cozy, heavy blanket. The material feels expensive, the fit is flattering, and there are pockets! I wore it on chilly, rainy days and it kept me warm and comfortable. I loved it so much I ordered the green and black tartan skirt. 1 star for that one. The bottom was not properly hemmed and was very awkward looking. The material was thin, the fuzz on it would get on other stuff, and it overall felt cheaply made. I don’t know why the two skirts are so vastly different, but I am so sad that the second one was so poorly made.

I don't review items but I needed to let you know that this is the skirt you are looking for. Fits true to the size chart. It's so so so comfortable. I don't think I realized how comfortable a skirt that looks this good could be. The brown tweed is beautiful, with flecks of little colors in it to give it character. I could live in this skirt. I already put three other patterns of this on my wishlist. Highly Recommend for those looking to do a librarian look but not willing to give up comfort. This is like wearing sweatpants but way cuter.

I love, love, love this skirt, except for the fact its zipper had to be replaced after about 8 to 10 wearings and 5 washings. Even with the need to replace the zipper, however, I am very happy with this garment. It is so pretty and is well-cut, soft, and warm! It has a lovely movement and swing to it as you walk. I appreciated the fact it suits a petite wearer and doesn't have such a heavy excess of material that it overwhelms the wearer or gets in the way of movement or functionality. It is a great skirt for walking, doing chores, working, etc. I have always loved Black Watch plaid and find this such an attractive skirt! It was a joy to wear on crisp, cool, autumn days and was just as functional and warm in the heart of winter. Be warned that it DOES leave ankles and a bit of lower shin bare, so on really cold days stockings, a pair of tights, or tall boots are advisable. I would definitely rate this skirt a five-star, except for the zipper issue.
