These are great. No issues with quality as mentioned in other posts. They are clear, no marks/blemishes. I was worried about buying them due to previous comments. They are a little smaller than I anticipated but are fine. The interior is slightly over 2 1/2 inches. Seem a bit thin, so don't be aggressive with them. My experience so far: I have made nearly 50 ornaments. I use half a sphere on a flat acrylic back. Durability: Didn’t crack when dropped onto a stone tile floor as an experiment. Didn’t scratch when I used my fingernail to remove a bit of glue. Adhesives: Don’t use: Super glue or nail polish remover. Clouds the plastic. I use: Gorilla grip contact adhesive in the little silver tubes. Dries clear and is thicker. So they work for me, and I have reordered more. ... show more

5/5 stars for QUALITY: these easily snapped into place and gave what we felt was a solid seal, but also unsnapped when we wanted to open back up and add more contents. We were making ornament gifts with sand/shells from our family vacation. Due to the weight of the sand, we decided to add a bit of super glue around the rim before snapping closed to prevent a mishap of the ornament opening up and spilling the contents. 5/5 stars for SIZE: standard bulb ornament size. Perfect size to showcase items that will be meaningful. 4/5 stars for MATERIAL: All the pieces that arrived with a hairline crack were the same side of the ornament (without the rim). Those pieces feel less durable/thick than the other side with the rim. Overall, the assembled ornament is lightweight, but generally feels durable. Plastic is crystal clear making it easy to view the contents. 0/5 stars for SHIPPING: Three of the twelve had hairline cracks. I'm certain these were due to shipping. After seeing how delicate these are, I was really surprised these were shipped in a bubble mailer and not a box. ... show more

I use these to make Pokémon balls for a Pokémon club I teach for elementary kids. I spray paint them white then let the kids color them with markers. They also get a small Pokémon toy to put in it. We tie a bit of yarn to hang around their necks. The kids love decorating them.
