  • Beautiful bass. Exceptional quality. Played perfect and sounded awesome right out of the box.
Color: Brown

  • Lovely bass
Color: Gray
I love my bass. The coloring wasn't exactly as expected, but it's not a deal breaker. She's very pretty and sounds good. I am not a musician so I'm not sure how a musician would say it, but it resonates a lot. Also not a deal breaker. I just set it down easier so we don't hear the bass reverberating as badly. [Not amped] Scale is perfect for comfort and finger placement. It's a lovely bass especially for the money. It sounds good, looks good, and won't be such a loss if your flighty self decides bass isn't for you. The picture isn't straight out of the box. I've been playing with her for about a week, and I love her! ... show more

  • great bass for the money ... but
Color: Gray
first off.. Its a great bass for the price. The sound is excellent. I love the color and the wood grain in it. Now what I didnt like... out of the box the action was HORRIBLE! The worst Ive ever seen! We are talking like 10mm on the E string at the 12th fret. I personally like mine at the most 3mm but thats what I consider high action. I prefer 2.5 or less. Not a big deal for anyone that knows how to adjust the action properly. Its at 2.5mm now and playing well no fret buzzing. The other thing that was off was the intonation. It was quite a bit sharp on every string. Bottom line I feel for this bass is a great sounding bass for the price, however if you have no experience making the adjustments I've described I would probably look elsewhere. A beginner would struggle trying to learn with the action at 10mm and with the intonation as far off as mine was it would sound out of tune at the lower frets. I dont want to talk too poorly about it because I love it and I have it playing well.... cant beat this for the $ ... show more

  • If you're looking for an honest bass, then this is the one for you!
Color: Gray
I've been playing the bass guitar since I was 5 years old....that's 46 years of playing various basses. I currently own a number of other bass guitars in different vintages - Fender, Rickenbacker, Gibson, Roscoe etc., and each one has its' own unique "personality", sound and characteristics. This Ibanez is no different. If you play a lot of jazz music like me, then you'll appreciate the pure tones that come from this bass. And if you're into something, let's say "heavier", this bass can handle that as well, no problem! The frets feel good, the finish is absolutely beautiful, and there's nothing "loose" or poorly built anywhere! Whether you're an experienced bassist that's looking for another quality bass to add to your gear, or if you're just learning the bass and need a quality guitar that will last, then I highly recommend this one! ... show more

  • Great bass! Recommend.
Color: Brown
It's a really beautiful bass, it's not as bright as in the description ,but it's still very beautiful. The strings are low and very comfortable to play. I really liked the fact that it came with a verification of test and adjustments. So it was ready to play, i actually played it on a church service, the same day i got it and it was awesome. I play 5 days a week, and practice with the band the other 2 days. So the fact that is light in weight, and that i don't need to press hard on the strings or pluck them to hard to get a really good sounds makes it perfect it for me and at a good prize. The sound is bright and the 3 pickups make it much better to mess around with the sound. I do recommend to get a cleaning cloth and cleaner for it. The finish of it makes finger prints very noticeable. I clean it everytime i play it. ... show more

  • Nice bass!
Color: Brown
This bass is for my son for middle school band. It was his first full size bass. My husband is a professional bass player. While my husband wouldn’t use this professionally, he still likes it a lot and has brought it as an emergency back up bass. My son loves and plays his bass daily. It takes a beating going to and from school and to school concerts and events. It is very durable and sounds good. He plays it everyday. We are very pleased with this bass and would buy another as our younger daughter will be wanting one soon. ... show more

  • Good value, good for beginners and old coots.
Color: Gray
First of all, It’s pretty. I decided to learn to play bass after getting involved with a garage band where there are 6 old guys who play guitar. Didn’t wanna spend a whole buncha money, because at my age, I’m not gonna go pro and tour the world. But I did want an ax that was easy to play and sounded good. This was instrument fills the bill. The pickups permit a wide range of sound characteristics and the frets feel like they belong where they are. It’s set up upon arrival was good. I didn’t have to mess with it. And another thing...the weight is just right for an old codger like me. I’ve picked up some basses that feel like I’m holding a small car!' So, if you’re just starting out as a bass player, or have a kid who is, this is a good buy. ... show more
