Then I remembered this brand from a previous Samsung phone that did work and was not cheap looking. I am so glad I remembered this brand! The fingerprint reader works consistently and it does not look cheap with visible holes covering the screen. It is beautiful and effective! I have not dropped my phone yet so I cannot speak to that but so far I love this case!!! Update: I did try cleaning it and it marred the fingerprint panel. It was a little confusing at first to follow the directions. I LOVE that it's a touchable clear clip in screen. The back is a grippy flexy plastic.The whole case is very sleek. The colors are outstanding and the case lines up with all the buttons and holes. One thing I can recommend, do not remove the clear circle ( button) protection before cleaning . I accidentally did this and got some of the screen wipe fabric on the sticky and it made it not very clear and looks " dirty " from the fabrics. ... show more

I had the same case on my old phone and liked it so much I bought the one for my new phone. It's easy to put on and looks great. I dropped my old phone almost daily and not one mark on the phone, it's looks new. I had the old on for 3 years, only got a new because the battery wasn't holding charge.

This case is peeling after going through two scrape inducing drops. Also, the case is not 10 foot drop safe - is not even 6 foot drop safe because my screen cracked after a drop from the steps of my semi, which is chest height on my 5' 5" frame. The gap on the back for the camera allows all manner of dirt and debris into the case which scratches the screen and back of phone, and the faceplate picks up scratches easily. The biometric spot became tacky and does not disappear into the background because it picks up all the dirt that gets into the case. The only thing this case has going for it is a pretty design. Would NEVER recommend, and wish I'd bought the ugly Otterbox instead. At least then my phone wouldn't be cracked now. ... show more
