These are 0 ply couplers. There is no reinforcement thread inside of the rubber. The stainless hose itself is great, but the cheap couplers WILL burst after a short time in use. Plan on buying 1.5 inch ID reinforced radiator couplers to make up your connections, or they will leak.

Be careful with this design No matter how much you tighten the Cheap hose clamps on the ribbed side it will still slide off when the pressure goes up to 14PSI. I'm adding some O rings that fit in the Groves in hope that it will help to hold the Robber sleeve better & going to get better HD SS hose clamps and give it another Try. Photo 1 is before going on the Freeway 2nd photo 10 miles later at Hwy speed the top hose blew off. ... show more

Ease of fit cut with a saw all with fine metal blade or grinder not scissor. Tighten down go back and check after in use then retighten.

Fittings were a pain to get on. Once installed, the band clamps have rusted within a week of being exposed. First time cranking the car engine to run coolant through the hoses, the rubber couplings split before the engine even got to temperature. 100% do not recommend purchasing!!!
