Nice little shears. I'm using them to remove spent flowers and leaves from my African violets. My regular kitchen scissors worked OK for the job, but these are a bit more nimble because of the thinner blades, which can more easily get between the leaves. I keep them on my plant stand so they're handy. So far they're holding up great and seem to be of decent quality. They feel nice in my hand, which I like. I bought these for precision cutting and they arent the best for that, though great for taking down big plants with thick stems. Just doesn't have a small tip like I wanted, a bit too thick for precision pruning.

Fantastic gardening shears for a variety of reasons: 1) They cut through wood and non-woody stems alike very easily and cleanly. 2) They clean off very easily and appear to be corrosion resistant. 3) The narrow blades make them great for harvesting various things -- I use them often for citrus, and it's way more effective than the twist method. the best for pruning everything in the greenhouse or flower garden... I've abused it on milkweed and tithonia sunflower stalks for years... only replaced it when the baby raccoons ran off with it because of the chewy rubber grips... [later recovered...]

These shears are sharp, comfortable, and easy to use. They get into tight place fairly well, though I would have liked a slightly finer tip. At the same time, the shears are not tight. If the rivet loosens up then I doubt they will cut. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend them.
