I love these things! I honestly can’t find anything better(for keeping your drinks cold), the only comparable thing is Stanley. I must say, I don’t feel as if it’s as great as it can be, however it’s almost there. The paint feels a bit flimsy, yet it looks phenomenal, extraordinary even. The best. Love the tone of the my pacific blue (and the variety of colors). I love the look of the paint it’s sleek yet not glossy which I like and it doesn’t stain or leave finger prints, love all that. But, these things dent so easily and the paint chips and scratches so easily despite its beautiful look, those are my gripes. The issues I have are very minor but it is so unconventional and frustrating because it’s a water bottle. I don’t know about you but I take this thing EVERYWHERE. Hiking, rock climbing, sky diving all of it. All my outdoor activities, this thing comes along and I’d love for it to be able to withstand this without coming back looking like I just shot it 25 times. I understand keeping the appearance of something while having to endure damage is difficult, could be inevitable. I take care of it but things happen, like dropping it or walking and knocking it against the island in my kitchen or the wall, literally anything. Life happens and while this thing does NOT break(awesome durability), it just looks like it’s been abused. You could say it adds character to your water bottle though, like preloved bags. The functionality of the hydro flask itself is the best I’ve ever had for the price, genuinely. It keeps my water cold for DAYS and I mean that, albeit the ice melts literally after a day no matter what environment I leave it in & keeps my hot cocoa hot for hours on end as if it was just made. It’s so easy to hydrate with the absolutely amazing fantastic wonderful literally the best lid ever made to man kind, I literally love the lid. Doesn’t leak AT ALL no matter what! The straw lid also doesn’t move around so easily so you don’t need to worry about it tilting up and spilling when you tilt it over and it feels super high quality, doesn’t dent and doesn’t damage in my experience(only the flask itself wears and dents, not the lid). Overall the design, color ways and functionality of this flask is Amazing in my opinion, price isn’t bad as well. You get what you pay for I’ll say that much, very worth it. There really isn’t any reason to go with any other brand. I love my hydro flask and I’ll forever recommend it to my friends and family. If you can design it so you can beat it up and it not look beat up, I’d consider it magic and this would be the perfect water bottle. There would be no need for any other water bottler. I got this wide-mouth Hydroflask 32 ounce in Olive as a Christmas gift. I was pretty skeptical because I know the Hydroflask brand is really expensive, and I am typically of the opinion that there is always a cheaper alternative than the ubiquitous, top-dollar brand. But since it was a gift I decided to embrace it, and I am glad I did. This is a great product. I have been trying for SO long to drink more water, and have tried a few different cups and bottles. I think between the size, temperature, and straw design of this cup, I drink way more water every day with this bottle than ever before! At 7:00 am I fill it about 1/4 full with ice cubes and the rest with water and it stays nice and cold all day. By 3:00 pm the ice cubes are mostly gone and I am ready for a refill. Being the wide mouth bottle, this is easy to clean and dries quickly. I LOVE the powdercoat finish and this color is THE BEST. It is durable and the straw always stays put inside the lid - it has never fallen out on its own like some others I have tried. Only two downsides - one, for smaller hands it is a little unwieldy. Thankfully, the little plastic loop behind the straw is the perfect spot for my pointer finger to go in which helps me hold it securely. Also, it does not fit in my car's cupholder, but I do have an older, small car - this may not be an issue in larger or newer cars. Overall, I can see why this is the preferred brand. I've owned a few water bottles in my life time, from my time in the marine Corps, outdoor stuff & just general use. This is one of the first where it just works perfect all the time... I was worried about having the straw in there and I seemed to have been right to be worried at first with it leaking when I turned it upside down. However, it was 100% my fault as I had refilled it but not rechecked the connection of the straw. I re-opened, manually, noticed the straw was not inserted fully and that's only reason it leaked. Now when I refill I make sure the straw is pushed in nicely and it's perfect. It's dishwasher safe which is not 100% necessary but super nice! You can also put any liquid in it you want, even lemon water as long as you don't leave it in there without washing for a long time. I love that I can have some cranberry juice in there & then put water back in it later and not be able to taste that I had anything else in there. I do use a separate straw for non-water but I'm not even sure that's necessary I just figured it would be safest way of dealing with itl. 10 out of 10 will be buying at least 1 more to have for guests when going on hikes or trips or just so I can have more than one beverage with me on a trip. What's also surprised me is I drink waaay more water with this than I did out of a regular glass. I dunno what it is but I tend to just keep drinking more water when using this even though I would say it tastes around the same. But whether you're a klutz like me and don't want to spill drinks everywhere, want something you can drink multiple drinks out of or any of a million reasons I also have this is the perfect sports bottle for you. I finally decided to get a hydro flask after spending copious amounts on cheaper imitation water bottles that cracked, leaked and didn’t keep beverages cold after being dropped just once. This hydro flask has kept up to its claims of being leak proof and keeping beverages cold. This size is perfect to take to work, the gym or beach and cleans up nicely using the brush it came with and warm soapy water.
