I bought this for a reason it wasn't intended. I wanted a reusable shampoo and body wash bottle to put in my checked luggage when traveling. Many regular bottles can burst open as luggage is thrown around, and many designated travel containers are small enough to go through security, which is smaller than I wanted. With the collar lock AND the drinking valve, these seem really travel proof. I've not had any leakage issues, they seem well made, and are doing just what I wanted them to do. My only criticism, is they are not completely round when filled. More of an oval shape. This means, especially when filled with shower gel, they don't want to stand up perfectly. I imagine this would be true even when filled with drinking liquids as intended. So I wish they would have been better at standing up. This bottle is light and comfortable to carry while running. My only problem is that I had a very hard time removing the "chemical" smell and taste in the bottle even after several washes. I soaked it in baking soda with some dishwashing soap and that helped. There must be an easier way? Makes me wonder if this is safe to use? ... show more

I bought this to use as a flask for liquid IV during a race. I like to have a separate bottle for anything that’s not plain water so that I don’t get weird tastes in my plain-water bladder and bottle. I was wearing a Nathan vest and wanted something I could stuff in the front pocket during the race. For that end it worked fine. I bought this specific bottle because I liked that it has a hand strap and you can carry it, as well. But since the race I’ve taken it as a handheld on several runs and the adjustable strap doesn’t work well for me. It constantly loosens itself while I’m running and as you drink and the bottle changes shape, there’s no comfortable way to me to adjust it that I’m not constantly at least aware of how much I need to find a different bottle. So, it’s fine, but not great. I like to own as little gear and kit as possible, for my mobile life style, so it’s always better when I can multi-purpose my gear—for that end, this bottle isn’t it. ... show more

It's good overall and the flavor is good. But because it's collapsible, the cap on the top tends to touch the ground a lot. Therefore, some sort of a cap cover would be great so that it stays clean.
