I need a simple twist and open bottle through which I can also see the contents inside. This came with a weird top but no leakage of anything sort. So far no issues. Read the product description properly before making the purchase.

I love the size of the bottle. It holds enough water for a strenuous workout. I also really like how the drink spout is like drinking from a cup. The whole set up is easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. My main issue is that twisting it from open to close is not as swift as shutting a lid. This leads to me often not twisting it closed all the way. If I knock it over or put it in a bag, it leaks easily. I know it's my fault (not the products) but it's an annoyance worth mentioning. ... show more

This is my second bottle from Hydrapak. The lid design is simply and efficient, it's composed of two pieces; an exterior piece made from hard plastic and an internal rubber insert which makes it super easy to clean with a long bottle brush. I now own 2 of these bottles in different sizes. I prefer these to Nalgene bottles since they fit in more bags and actually fit in the cupholders in vehicles which is a nice perk. They are extremely durable and hold up like a Nalgene would. Sure it's a bit more pricey than a Nalgene but it at least is made from 50% recycled plastics. I also like that the mouth on the bottle will accommodate any accessories that work with a Nalgene. Meaning this will connect to most water filter/purifiers that are made to fit a Nalgene. The twist cap on this has a pretty good flow and pours very well. I have never had any issues with leaking. At the end of the day, it will hold your beverage of choice and it is not insulated.
