I ended up ordering a small in hopes that it would have a more "fitted" look & I am so happy that I did that b/c they FIT PERFECTLY. They do fit tighter in the chest area (I am a 38D bust) but the straps are adjustable. It is more fitted in the waist section which is what I wanted (I am in between sizes right now, I can wear either a 5/6 or 7/8 with a 27 or 28 waist). The pants are what I would call a "wide leg". They are not boot cut, tighter in the thigh and flare at the bottom, but imo they would be more of a wide leg type fit, wider all the way down, but not terribly wide to where it looks like you have a skirt on. As far as the length, I am 5'5.5 and I can wear my platform sneakers and they don't hit the ground. All and all, I am very pleased with this buy & I highly recommend if you are wanting to buy overalls and not have the typical baggy, "overall fit", see what I did there lol. ... show more

I wear overalls a lot. They're fun and they're extremely comfortable. These are by far, my favorite. I own 4 pairs of these and the long legged version. I am now buying my 5th pair. The quality and comfort are unbeatable! I also love the way they're cut at the waist and the top - it gives the illusion that I have a smaller waist than I actually do. The fabric is amazing - it's both sturdy and has some stretchiness in it. That they are affordable is the cherry on the cake!!! Love these! Don't hesitate to buy them!!! ... show more

I was looking for overalls for gardening and came across these. The overall design is attractive and the gauge of the denim is soft and sturdy. But despite the fact I went with the size guide, the XS are very roomy and quite long on my 98 lb., 5'2" frame. So I would not recommend them to slender women who are petite. That said, I think they will work for average and plus-sized ladies. On the fence about sending them back, but I may just hem them and put them to use for outdoor projects. ... show more

All in all the overalls are good quality and comfortable.... The 1x fits like an XL. Which is fine. The straps however! The straps are very very cheap and very thin quality. They are flimsy and do not stay adjusted. That's a disappointment. Overalls are all about the straps. I had to actually put the straps together because they can't apart as I was putting them on. The straps look fashionable but don't hold up to quality. 👎 I was thinking about putting a layer of fabric clear glue to thicken them up and make them stay in place. 🤷 ... show more

I really like these overalls. I'm 5'4 1/2 144 Lbs. I bought a Med. They fit loose but feel comfortable and looks nice. I'm lucky to have a hourglass shape so I don't mind them fitting a little big. But if I was looking to be more stylish I would order a small. If you want them for working in the garden or just hanging out I would go for your reg. size but if you want to look more stylish and want a tighter look I would order down. The black will probably fade after putting it in the washing machine a few times just by just looking at it. Maybe if a person hand washes their clothes it may stay black. But that's not me. LOL! Wayyy too large to be considered a size small. I haven't washed it yet and don't know how much it will shrink but I doubt it will be by 1-2 full clothing sizes. The material is stretchy and does have pockets but they're inconveniently located for actual use. Wouldn't recommend.
