My son is 12yo & 4'11" and I bought him the XXL cause I looked at their size chart. XXL is more like 14-16 in US size. He's just now getting out of the size 12 & more of a 14. The sweats are a little too big BUT I'd rather them be big than too small. I like the fact that the drawstrings actually works & if they're too big you can tie it tighter. The assortment of colors were a good choice cause black, gray, olive green & navy blue...Those colors will match with everything! My kid is in a "I only wanna wear sweatpants" stage. So anything with a drawstring he'll wear. Material is a thinner type cloth but still keeps him warm and very comfy! After the 1st wash I hung them up to air dry cause I didn't want them to shrink. Whenever these go back on sale I will be purchasing more. But at the price it is now it's $10 for each pair & 4 comes with pack. I liked it better when it was $6 for for each pair of the 4 pack. Perfect for my son, who is tall and skinny. The smaller waist is one that actually fits him. He loves these pants! He's 12, but wears 14/16 because of his height. Most pants that fit in length are too big in the waist for him, but these are perfect.

My son likes these pants, but he has complained the pockets are not deep enough to keep his phone inside while he sits down. Also, the material on the inside is not as soft as I would have liked, but he hasn’t complained about that.

Amazing sweats. Finally a pair with long enough strings to be able to tie. Cozy, decently warm but not to wear on an artcic cold day unless you kid runs hot. We wear them home and to school.
