I race karts and prefer the flexibility of a 2-piece race suit, rather than a one-piece suit, especially in the heat of Texas. I like that this has a zip-out inner liner, and if there was any criticism that I have is that I wish the jacket could be further deconstructed so that one could have just the cordura outer liner with no inner liner at all, but there is a mesh liner that is not removable. There are front and rear vents, which are quite helpful. Sizing was spot-on. It looks great, too - accompanying my Answer motocross pants nicely. All the foam padding was able to be easily removed, or reinstalled, depending on your needs. We'll see how the right arm manages getting bounced against the kart motor over time - something that chewed-up my one-piece suit that I started-out with.

my own fault, as I'm ridding in Louisiana in the Summer. The Jacket fits as expected and is Very well designed for protection, the only problem is that I'm wearing it in the South in the Summer. Got to where I was going safely, but was drenched with sweat when I got there.

It's starting to get into the colder months and I needed a good jacket to keep me warm and feel protected. I had a Bilt 2 Techno Jacket that I used for the summer months but I needed something that would keep the cold air out, and this absolutely does it! I've been riding for 4 years now and my first ever jacket was the neon yellow one, which I still own! It works good still but the velcro no longer sticks on the wrist and the years of me Driving to work in the logging woods and wearing it daily, it took in some oil stains. I finally needed an upgrade in my motorcycle gear and I was eying motorcycle jackets in the $200+ range but my budget wasn't going to let me. This is absolutely the best value for your money! I ride all year around even in the low temperatures in east texas.. I ended up buying the pants as well and they fit right over my work pants. There's a zipper that connects the two and it makes it more convenient putting them on and taking them off. I'm 5ft 8 and 185 pounds and a 42 inch chest, and the Large fit spot on with a little room to layer underneath without feeling too baggy. Go HWK keep up the good work!

Feels very sturdy! I love that you can remove the insulation to make it less warm. Fits great and looks cool too! The pads on the inside feel like they would help quite a bit in a fall. Very nice
