  • Great book to learn about HVAC’s!
This book has everything, clear explanations as to how the HVAC works, important parts and how they work, and then troubleshooting for what could be wrong. The illustrations are very helpful when understanding the parts being described.

Super good for home owners trying to learn about their HVAC system. It has gotten expensive just to call out an HVAC rep this is great because it gives photos for what to look for. You still may need to call an HVAC rep but at least some of the time you can fix stuff yourself.

  • A must-have for HVAC beginners and DIY homeowners
This book is exactly what I needed. The explanations are clear, the diagrams actually make sense (finally!), and the real photos helped me identify what I was looking at inside my unit. I was able to clean the coils and even replace a capacitor, which honestly felt impossible before. The section on how the HVAC process works especially the refrigeration cycle broke things down in a way that clicked for me. Plus, I appreciated the troubleshooting charts and maintenance checklists in the back. ... show more

  • Great Guide
This is a really good HVAC book. It explains clearly the different components of a HVAC unit. It explains the indoor vs out door units. It takes you through the components and explains issues that could arise and how to tackle them before they happen or if they happen. It covers cleaning the unit and how often it should be clean. It also covers residential units vs commercial units. It gives you tips, (troubleshoot), on how to check unit issues. I found this guide to be very thorough in it's explanations and well written. It covers a lot. ... show more
