The explanations are super clear, and the visuals made it easy to follow even as a total beginner. Iā€™ve already used the maintenance steps to clean my system and noticed it runs more efficiently. A lot of the jargon is still new to me but this guide did better than I expected in regard to breaking down the information for a dummy like me to do a decent job of understanding it. The illustrations were the most helpful and my only improve for the guide is to have more images as I tend to pick things up faster visually. But still a great option for a beginner! This guide is a good introduction to the world of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. It covers everything from installation and maintenance to troubleshooting, with a focus on both homes and businesses. The author really knows their stuff and does a great job of putting all the info together in one place. That being said, I did wish there were more illustrations. The content is great, but without visuals, it can be a bit tricky for someone new to HVAC to really get the hang of the terminology and processes. As a former mechanic, I could follow along, but I kept thinking how much easier it would be for beginners to see what certain components and steps actually look like. Even a few diagrams could really make a difference. On the bright side, I loved how the author explains key maintenance routines and ways to save on energy costs. Those sections were easy to understand and super practical. This book is best for readers who already have some mechanical experience or are just starting an HVAC course.
