My 2-year-old nephew loves to “help” his daddy in the yard and pretends a stick is a weed whacker or a leaf blower, so when I saw this set, I bought it for his Christmas present. He LOVES it. The lights and sounds have captured his attention for weeks now. The sounds and the overall look and feel of each piece are pretty realistic. My (and my in-laws’) only gripe is that there is no volume control, and the speaker is integral to the unit - meaning, it’s not easy to find the speaker to cover with some tape to muffle the sound a bit. Each piece is EXTREMELY loud - I wouldn’t be surprised if they hit 75+ decibels each. The kids all covered their ears when the units were first used, as it was surprising how loud they are. However, these pieces were overall a huge hit with the toddlers in the family, and if I or my BIL can find a way to muffle the sound a bit, they’d be perfect. ... show more
