Great boots, TTS for a size 8, occasionally I size up a half size for boots if I’m going to wear socks underneath, but not for my Hunters. I have a pair of tall original Hunters but I wasn’t sure how warm Ireland would be in the early summer (hint: it is not, lol) so I bought my first short ones and these had a little heel/wedge to them, so it kinda elevated my look without looking like I overdressed for all of our adventures. I will say they were a little heavy, but that’s the nature of galoshes and I’d be nervous if they weren’t. Unlike my Hunter originals, they didn’t cause me to blister on the back of my heel, which was a bit surprising, but I think it helped I wore them with boot cuffs most of the time to hide my raw hem jeans. They did a great job keeping my feet dry and some days were so rainy that our raincoats soak through! The wide openings of the boots were perfect for tucking in my bootcut jeans without “poofing” them out and the matte purple is STUNNING! Felt like they went with everything!

Perfect height! Fall can bring sprinkles to the Middle West. Perfect height for rainy fall days. True to size. I purchased black to go with any dress. But would absolutely love a pop of color in my next pair. Having different heights of Hunter boots provides so many options for the weather. Highly recommend these — so versatile!!

These boots are perfect. I ordered my usual size and had plenty of room with socks. I wore them all day while setting up for a festival in the rain, and they were comfortable and my feet were dry. 10/10 would recommend.

I wear a size 11, sometimes 12 depending on brand and mainly because the ball of my foot is wide. I read these may run small in some reviews, but these fit me quite well and may possibly be even a little bit big. Thick socks definitely helped. And you need them because where the boot hits on your ankle can rub. I wore these on a rainy trip to Bar Harbor Maine and I'm so glad I bought them. Even did some light hiking in Acadia national Park with them. I wouldn't recommend that, though-mainly because that's not what they're meant for and the soles are not super grippy. Great for the rain and probably for snow too if it wasn't too much or too cold.

Love the fit and color of these boots. I had a previous pair of higher Hunters that were impractical to store when not in use. These are a great combination of convenience, function, and style.
