This is my 2nd time purchasing these pants for my daughter. About year ago, I purchased these pants in the size 18-24 months and they held up well even after a year of them being heavily worn and washed almost every week. They are still in excellent condition. (At about a year mark, I noticed that the ones I bought previously had a small hole in its buttocks. That's OK for me because I've had them for a year plus and it served us well. My mom just sewed it up and now it looks great again.) At that time, my daughter was around 24 months old. As I said, this is my 2nd purchase and these ones are no different from the first set I got. This time, my daughter is 37 months (3 years 1 month) and 30 lbs and I got a size 2t because she is small in body for her age. I am very slim so I guess she takes off of me. They are opaque and stretchy. They also look comfortable. These pants are my 'go to' pants when my daughter has to go anywhere. I did not have an issue where some of the pants come in different sizes. One thing I noticed is that the waist of these pants and the previous ones are high up, they come up to.about my daughter's navel so I just fold them over and she is good to go. I got the ones with the black with black bow on the ankles and the two shades of pink with pink bows on the ankles. I ABSOLUTELY ENJOY THESE PANTS. I WOULD BUY THEM AGAIN. NOTE: I do not have a dryer so I machine washed them and let them air dry. They did not shrink. So, I am not sure how they would do with being dried in a dryer.

My son generally wears 3T size, so I went ahead and ordered 4T because I saw a lot of reviews that said these pants are at least one size too tight. After several wash cycles they are still quite baggy on my son, and I see him pulling them up often. I would say only order a size up if your child is between sizes. I'm keeping the baggy pants for when my son is bigger; besides being baggy they seem to be quite comfortable and very cute. Update: tried ordering a set of 3T and they have a similar fit to other 3T pants. See you next year 4T pants.
