HTVRONT Paint By Numbers For Adults is a relaxing activity that results in a beautiful piece of art. The kit includes a canvas, acrylic paint, 3 paintbrushes, 2 Wall Hanging Hooks, Numbered Reference Page, and Smaller Postcard Sized Painted Reference. The canvas and the individual tubs of color are clearly marked with numbers ranging from 1-24. The brushes vary in size and I was able to fill in the spaces easily using at least one of the three if not a combination of all of the three brushes. I found that two of the brushes are on the thinner side so despite getting the paint on the canvas, I did need to clean these two brushes frequently in order to avoid clumping and to ensure clean application on the edges without leaching over to the neighboring square. It is a very calming activity for me. I like that I can spend as much or as little time as I choose as well as how I would fill in the spaces whether it was filling in all of a specific number before moving on or filling in each section at a time. Some of the spaces are really tiny and even when using the tiniest brush it is not easy to fill in within the lines. Only I will know this so it is not a major deal. I found that once I painted the section and let it dry, I would need to paint it one additional time to clearly cover the number and ensure that each color stood out vibrantly. Fortunately, the manufacturer included enough paint to cover the entire area in a vibrant and bold color so you don't have to worry about running out of paint. This would make a fantastic gift to encourage a loved one to try a new hobby. The price of the product at the time this review was written is very fair given both the fun and calm that it can bring to the painter. It is Made in China. I am a new fan of paint by numbers and will definitely look into other paintings for future efforts.

The main problem of this canvas is that the size of the number-printed area is 15.75x19.75. So if you bought a canvas frame for 16x20 like me, you will find a lot of white space on all 4 sides. Canvas received rolled 5/5 (not folded) Canvas quality 4/5 (thin canvas) Paint quality 4/5 (lighter color need double coat) Packaging 5/5 (can be gifted) Overall okay purchase, just need to work around with the white spaces.

It's giving hoa hoa hoa without even having to say anything! Is that a werewolf I see in the background? Or a couple of vampires on their way to play baseball in a clearing? I can't say for sure, but I know that they'd love this painting! It's on a good canvas with good lines and clear numbers. The paints are good quality with nice colors and it's really easy to follow, but you can still get a little creative with it to make it your own. I don't love the disposable brushes that come in the kit, but if you don't have your own set of brushes, they will absolutely do the trick. You get three sizes for what you would need in the image, so they are highly functional! I just prefer using ones that are a little more ergonomic. These make a great gift for anyone in your life, or a fun thing for you to do! I have loved seeing my own collection of completed paintings on the wall grow and have started gifting them to friends as well. Time to get creative and have some fun!!

Review Summary: The paint-by-number kit has everything you need, including the 16x20-inch canvas but no frame. The paint quality was poor, making it difficult to cover numbers, and the canvas arrived folded, creating creases that affected the appearance. While the design was clear, there were unnumbered areas on the canvas, requiring guesswork for color choices. The experience was enjoyable but time-consuming, and it would have been helpful to include instructions for novice painters on how to get started. Sunflowers - My Experience: I decided to paint the Sunflowers using a Paint by Numbers Kit by HTVRONT, which is advertised for adult beginners. Although I have painted with instructors in community classes before, this was only my second paint-by-number project as an adult. The kit included everything I needed, except that if you plan to mix or dilute the colors, you'll need to provide your own mixing tray. The kit contains only a 16x20-inch canvas and does not come with a frame. Additionally, you will need to supply your own cleaning supplies. The paint quality was poor and could have been thicker. I struggled to cover the numbers with the lighter colors; as you can see from the provided photos, even with the darker orange, the numbers are still visible. I had to paint over the number four or five times to cover it completely, or apply a blob of paint on top. The design on the canvas was clear, and the numbers were easy to read (see photo). However, I was disappointed that the canvas arrived folded rather than rolled, which made it difficult to smooth out the creases. Despite my efforts, I was unable to completely eliminate the creases, which affected the overall appearance of the painting. Many design features consist of extremely small areas with odd shapes that require a smaller brush than what was provided. I recommend considering the three smallest brushes in this pack for detailed work: https://a.co/d/6Ik7JAT. The canvas had several spaces without numbers indicating the color. When I consulted the reference guide, it also lacked numbers for those same spaces, forcing me to guess which colors should be used. I enjoyed the paint-by-number experience, but it required a significant amount of time to complete. It would have been helpful if the kit included some instructions or guidelines for novice painters. For example, guidance on the best colors to start with and suggestions on where to begin painting to avoid getting your hands or arms in wet paint would have been beneficial. Unfortunately, no such instructions were included. I would not recommend this painting kit for children. It's a large project with too many intricate details that could lead to frustration and abandonment. For children ages 8-12, I suggest a different paint-by-number kit: https://a.co/d/8mDrTfN. This alternative features larger areas to paint and fewer smaller sections, making it more suitable for younger artists. If you are a beginner attempting this project, remember that your painting will be unique, just like mine. I've attached a photo of the completed painting and a photo showing how it might look framed using artisan tape. It's important to understand that your painting may not resemble the finished product on the packaging, so don't be too hard on yourself if it looks different. Most importantly, have fun!

This is a pretty collage of wildflowers. I will say that you'll need to find a way to weigh down the edges of the canvas since it arrives rolled up in a small box. The areas you have to paint are very small and very numerous so I would say this is for adolescents and up, not children.
