What a great deal
Size: OJ Pro 6978
I was hesitating when I was looking to replace my HP printer, but then I read the description for the re-build units, I decided to take a chance. I am not very knowledgeable about adding and deleting new devices on my computer and was truly super surprised how easy it was to changeout this unit. And it worked without my becoming frustrated or pulling out my hair. I feel that the Amazon warranty on it is trustworthy. I have been using the unit daily have not had any issues or problems, the quality of the printouts are clear and true to the originals. I highly recommend trusting Amazon to deliver what they offer and would consider buying a rebuilt unit again should the need arise.

Not bad for a refurbished product
Size: OJ Pro 6978
It didn’t want to work at first, but after messing with it a little it’s been doing good. Fingers crossed it will have a good lifespan.

This is a refurbished item
Size: OJ Pro 6978
We have never before purchased a refurbished item, but took a chance on this one. So far it is working just as well as the new one we had purchased previously which was similar.

OfficeJet Pro 6978
Size: OJ Pro 6978
Took a while to install. The number on the box (6978) is not the number of the printer on the computer. After 2 hours it's finally printing.

Just got this to replace an old HP 8600 Pro... will update later as I get more use out it
Size: OJ Pro 6978
My 8 year old HP 8600 Pro print head finally died for good and I got this one. The HP 6978 seems to have the same capabilities of the 8600 (dual side printing and scanning), except that the cartridges a LOT smaller than the ones for the 8600 (which is a good way for HP to make money eh?) Anyway, despite being sold as "refurbished" the packaging and printer condition were pretty much the same as a brand new printer. I tested **all** functions I care about (printing quality, dual side printing and scanning, etc) and everything looked good. Side note/advice: A hard lesson I learned about "Amazon refurbished products" is to make sure to test them **thoroughly** before the 90-day return/warranty period expires... E.g. my pair of refurbished wireless Sony headphones worked great... that is, until I took them on a plane trip and discovered the wired connection does not work (unfortunately long after the return period)... Anyway, I'll update this comment if I run into any problems over the next few months of using this printer!
