  • It is anti-glare and a very good product in the proper lighting
I have had this monitor for a couple of months. I would say that it is anti-glare, but non anti-reflective. If there is not a light source behind you, and you have a light background for you monitor, it is very good. See the 1st picture of this review: it is with a lighter Windows background, and the closest light source is fluorescent lighting above and to the right of the monitor. Is this environment I have no glare or reflections. However, turned off, or using a dark background, with a light source behind you, it is more like a mirror. See the second picture with this review: with a lamp behind me turned on, and a dark background, you can see the glare and reflection in the very dark areas of the background. If you can deal with that, fine. The only other minor oddity is that the power and adjustment buttons are in the back of the monitor, on the lower right. So one has to reach behind the monitor to use them. But in my setup I rarely have to use them. Overall I like the monitor, it is very crisp and clear for the work I use it for, and very convenient for having multiple application windows open. it sits on a riser on my 4 foot wide desk and I still have a lot of room around it. I have it connected (via the VGA port) to a KVM switch for 8 systems (running various flavors of Windows and Linux), and it works very well in this setup. ... show more

  • Update 9/3/21: HP 32s Monitor Working as Expected
Another Update. HP changed it's website layout. These directions to find the manual may change again. To find the manual now you still start by going to HP.COM. Then click on the search icon in upper right corner (magnifying glass). Search for 'Find Manual'. On the next page click on 'Get HP Support'. On the next page scroll down and enter "2Ud96Aa#Aba" (without the italics) in the window where it says to enter your product information. This SHOULD take you to the page with all the documentation available for this monitor. Oh, and my monitor is still working fine after about 10 months... Update! I was able to find the user manual on hp.com. Enter 'HP 32s Display' in Search. Then look for 'Support' on the page once the site actually finds your search. After clicking on 'Support', then look for a link to 'Manuals'. There is a short list, last one is 'User Manual'. It will show you how to use the mysterious buttons with no labels on them. The bottom button is power, top button is menu, and middle buttons are function buttons for navigating the menu. Hi. This review is for the HP 2Ud96Aa#Aba FHD IPS Monitor, purchased from the HP store on Amazon. My old Seiki 32" tv started to fritz, so I had to replace it. I will say that I think it had richer colors, but overall I am satisfied with my purchase of this HP monitor. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I cannot believe that the control buttons are not labeled. I knew this when I bought it from the reviews, but that was not a show stopper. I've been playing online slots, checking email, and using Word and Excel, with no issues. I also have an old game that uses VGA level graphics, and the monitor handles this. I've also been able to change display settings in Windows, as well as through my Radeon graphics card software. I am not having a glare issue with the lamp behind me or the overhead living room light. I would definitely buy this again, but I would REALLY like to talk to the design team and ask them how anyone would overlook labeling the controls! ... show more

  • I can finally see!
I work on my computer all day providing software support. I use a variety of screen sharing softwares and was having trouble seeing everything on my standard 22" monitor. This monitor has made a huge difference in my work life.

  • Good Value
I've had this monitor for about a year now. Always like to give electronics some time before doing the review. I'm 64 so a larger screen is a huge benefit for the home office. I do not do games so deleted that rating feature. The picture is clear and only one bad pixel. Have not had any problems and see no reason it will not last 10 years or longer (other HP monitor lasted almost 20). Would buy again. ... show more

  • I love this display!
Received in late March 2021. It's now October 2021 and it has given me flawless service. I use it at least 35 hours a week. Yes, I'm an HP fan from way back. I shopped for several hours reading reviews, comparing features and prices and closed in on this display and I'm very glad I did. Yes, the display does reflect somewhat - this is most notable if I'm working after dark, but has not been an issue for me. I did not want built in speakers (display speakers are usually disappointing) so I play audio via the laptop through high quality Altec Lansing desktop speakers for audiophile results (you may need to adjust the computer speaker settings from "HDMI" to "Speakers" for this to work). The display is a keyboard width from the edge of the desk, so I'm sitting "on top" of the display panel, which is very sharp and clear. I added a high end HDMI cable, but it probably isn't necessary, I'm just a nut for quality. I work remotely and was forced to a magnifying glass to see necessary details on the 19" display BEFORE this display was acquired. Sometimes I get confused about whether I'm on my home laptop computer or remotely connected to my office desktop computer (I haven't worked at the office since late March of 2020). Lastly, I didn't notice an increase on my electric bill after I started using this display, in fact, it may have gone down a little and this display emits very little heat, front or back. ... show more

  • Fantastic quality
I use two of these for work (software development) and they are great. I've had them for a few months now and have had no problems with them. They just plug in and work.
