  • Decent monitor for the price
Simple to setup and image quality is great. I was little skeptical because of the low price but I am really impressed with this monitor. It is an awesome monitor, better than my other monitor that I paid lot more.

  • Extremely Clear and vivid picture. Quality is amazing.
I like that the picture is so clear and bright. Great quality. The size is wonderful. I will be using it for gaming, as well as watching movies, and TV. Super great quality and worth the money. I had a 32 inch monitor before and when I switched this one over, I can't tell you what a positive difference this one made. If I could rate this higher, I would. ... show more

  • Highest Rated Among the <$200 Computer Monitor.
Here are the "good" and "bad" on this product. . . ADVANTAGES . 1. It was the highest rated among the <$200 computer monitors. On 12/06/2020, it had 82% 5-Stars. . I bought mine for $156 - a "Customer Return." Other than oily finger prints on the screen, everything was "new." . 2. The product is heavier than others. With a very sturdy stand, it offers more stability than similar units. . 3. The image is sharp and bright. . . DISADVANTAGES . 1. Instructions are super-minimal, just one page. . 2. There are no built-in speakers. . 3. Adjustment controls on the right edge are very "Mickey Mouse." You have to play with them several times to get an understanding. . 4. HP needs to offer a 43" model. ... show more

  • Great Monitor With a Shiny Screen
This monitor is really nice. The large screen is bright with a warmer tone. The text is clear and smooth and easy to read. The color is natural and deep. It does have a shiny screen, so that may affect your application. But all in all, I am happy to have such a large monitor for so little money. Cheers. ... show more

  • It is anti-glare and a very good product in the proper lighting
I have had this monitor for a couple of months. I would say that it is anti-glare, but non anti-reflective. If there is not a light source behind you, and you have a light background for you monitor, it is very good. See the 1st picture of this review: it is with a lighter Windows background, and the closest light source is fluorescent lighting above and to the right of the monitor. Is this environment I have no glare or reflections. However, turned off, or using a dark background, with a light source behind you, it is more like a mirror. See the second picture with this review: with a lamp behind me turned on, and a dark background, you can see the glare and reflection in the very dark areas of the background. If you can deal with that, fine. The only other minor oddity is that the power and adjustment buttons are in the back of the monitor, on the lower right. So one has to reach behind the monitor to use them. But in my setup I rarely have to use them. Overall I like the monitor, it is very crisp and clear for the work I use it for, and very convenient for having multiple application windows open. it sits on a riser on my 4 foot wide desk and I still have a lot of room around it. I have it connected (via the VGA port) to a KVM switch for 8 systems (running various flavors of Windows and Linux), and it works very well in this setup. ... show more

  • This FHD hp monitor is affordable(kind of cheap compared to other monitors!), has great picture!
I mainly use this monitor for surfing the internet and multitasking such as online college course work. i gave it 5 stars because the picture quality is excellent and the screen is big! and it's better and cheaper than most hp qhd monitors and you can still use it for a hp pavilion computer tower! i also like it because you can tilt the screen easily! for my opinion, if you're looking for a monitor for multitasking, gaming, or browsing the internet this would be your second best option to get, but if you're wanting to watch 4k blu ray discs then i would go with a 4k monitor instead. to narrow it down, 4k does have the best picture quality but, for just simple multitasking and surfing the internet(depending on your likes and needs) i would go with the hp fhd 32" monitor to start out with, and then later down the road get a 4k. ... show more

  • Be Aware
I've noticed from other reviews, I'm not the only one. Enjoying this new large monitor for a couple of weeks then, it started turning off now and then, for no reason? About to send it back but, I noticed when I bumped the power cable at the monitor, it would come on for a bit and shut off again. Long story short: It takes some unusual force pushing in the power cable into the monitor for it to snap and lock in place. Other than my stupidity, so far this monitor is working great and I love the size for these old eyes. Just what the eye Dr. ordered. ... show more

  • I love this display!
Received in late March 2021. It's now October 2021 and it has given me flawless service. I use it at least 35 hours a week. Yes, I'm an HP fan from way back. I shopped for several hours reading reviews, comparing features and prices and closed in on this display and I'm very glad I did. Yes, the display does reflect somewhat - this is most notable if I'm working after dark, but has not been an issue for me. I did not want built in speakers (display speakers are usually disappointing) so I play audio via the laptop through high quality Altec Lansing desktop speakers for audiophile results (you may need to adjust the computer speaker settings from "HDMI" to "Speakers" for this to work). The display is a keyboard width from the edge of the desk, so I'm sitting "on top" of the display panel, which is very sharp and clear. I added a high end HDMI cable, but it probably isn't necessary, I'm just a nut for quality. I work remotely and was forced to a magnifying glass to see necessary details on the 19" display BEFORE this display was acquired. Sometimes I get confused about whether I'm on my home laptop computer or remotely connected to my office desktop computer (I haven't worked at the office since late March of 2020). Lastly, I didn't notice an increase on my electric bill after I started using this display, in fact, it may have gone down a little and this display emits very little heat, front or back. ... show more
