I was a bit skeptical of purchasing refurbished. But laptop was in great condition. No dings or blemishes that i could see. My only issue is the battery seems to never go full charge... If I requested I would bet they would send me a new one.....but the way i use it, is mostly always plugged in so it doesnt bother me.....after a year of the way i use it....batyery would go bad anyway. .. I give it an a plus plus for condition of the laptop alone. ...works just fine. Thank you!. ... show more

Ordered the HP 840 G2, received in 48 hours. Came in very good condition, appeared close to new. Set up was easy, tested all usb and vga ports as well as connectivity to docking station. All worked. Windows 10 Pro, CPU, memory and disk drive all as advertised and function as new. Battery seems to be charging and working as new. Boot up is fast, internet browsing is fast, loading and using multiple apps is fast. So far, very happy. ... show more

I've only had it a week. Clean no immediately noticeable scratches or dents. The battery 🔋 life is not good. You MUST keep your charger close or it will die on you. I was mid zoom meeting and couldn't immediately grab my charger and it shut off within a minute of low 🔋 ⚠️... The mouse .. lil navigation tab in the center isn't always reliable. It sticks sometimes. I'll hang in with it for as long as it is functioning well enough for my needs. ... show more

    • Shipped laptop with faulty battery
The laptop is beautiful and in very good condition EXCEPT for the fact that the company sent the laptop with a faulty battery NOT ONCE but TWICE! The battery that came with the laptop WOULD NOT hold a charge so they sent a second one maybe a week or so later....it had the SAME ISSUE. I contacted the company and the agreed to refund after I sent everything back. What I didn't realize is that they gave me 7 days to return it. I couldn't return it within 7 days because of a family emergency that resulted in an immediate family member being hospitalized briefly. They also wanted a part of the return label to be in color. I had no way of doing that at the time. There's NO WAY that they didn't know the batteries wouldn't hold a charge. So it seems as if I'm stuck with a laptop and two batteries that won't hold a charge and I'm out of $400. Any suggestions would be great. ... show more

I wanted to replace my older HP laptop - it was heavier and therefore not as easy to take with me when I travel as well as not responding as quickly as it used to despite keeping up with the updates and making sure to antivirus software working at all times. This laptop was a good price and had most of the options that I wanted - the only negative being that it had a DisplayPort option rather than HDMI (I connect a larger monitor to it when using it in my home office). I did make an error and initially set up OneDrive to use for storage, but since I have a lot of data the included storage space was used up almost immediately, so I reinstalled Windows 10 and disconnected the OneDrive as default. Since I also have Google Drive, it was superfluous to use yet another Cloud option for storing any data that I needed. I don't use it often on battery but when I have, it's been good, lasting longer than my previous HP. There are some small issues with it going to sleep unexpectedly (even though I've adjusted the Power Options to not do that) but that's a minor inconvenience.     • Ultra sensitve Touch-Pad and unable to add NVME drive
Cons: The Touch-Pad on this Notebook is way too sensitive and any HOVER over an icon or link activates the link which is really annoying!! Despite selecting Low Sensitivity of the touchpad it still does NOT work like Macbook pads and keeps trigging on a simple HOVER! The CPU speed is adequate but lags on wifi connection. This model does not come with Touch-Screen functionality. Unlike a Macbook, the Audio Volume control requires Function Key which means 2 hands to lower or increase the volume! Not kosher. Also, the Notebook says can NOT be upgraded to Win 11 which is rather idiotic. Pro: lighted Keyboard, 16 gig of RAM, and 250 Gig of SSD which is a good buy for a tad under $200 dollars Cons: Unable to upgrade with an NVME drive which took a while to diagnose! Final call was to return and get another Elteibook 840 G4 ... show more

I needed a basic laptop because I work from home and my old one finally gave out. I have a tablet that I love but it is mouseless, and has no USB ports at all which makes doing my work difficult. After looking at the reviews I chose this one. This has everything I need..All the apps and a cam and mic, came with Windows 10, several ports, and it is very fast. For under 300$USD I have ZERO complaints. Bluetooth devices set right up, no issues syncing any accounts or apps. So happy I purchased this.
