The white matches the white of my other plastic hangers. The “velvet” does not come off. The hangers are slightly bent. I tried to bend them the other way but it did nothing. Some were more or less bent (depends how they were packaged). Neurotic details: I kept ordering other hangers that said “white” but were made of recycled materials & looked like a dirty white. My shorts on the left are “bright white” for comparison. I’m happy with these.

I have replaced every hanger in every closet in my house. It took me months, but I'm so glad that I did! The hangers are sturdy and very reliable. No breaking like with plastic hangers. No bending like with metal hangers. The velvet is soft and keeps the shoulders from slipping off. They hang well. The hook part turns so you can make sure all of your clothes are facing the same way. The closet looks neat. None of the hooks overlap. It's so nice not to have to wrestle your clothes out of the closet and have them keep their shape and hang straight.

I like these hangers because of the fabric. It keeps clothing from slipping off unlick plastic hangers. My only reason for four stars instead of 5 is because they're so delicate. I had a few break on me and I wasn't being too rough. So be gentle with them but other than that they're great!
