I ordered two of the HotYeah 23.8" 100Hz portable monitors and was genuinely impressed right out of the box. The packaging was secure, and the build quality exceeded my expectations for portable monitors. Both units were easy to unpack and set up, with no hassle at all. I purchased these primarily to reclaim space in my home workspace. I wanted to get rid of bulky frames and stands from traditional desktop monitors while still maintaining a clean, functional setup. Portability was also a big factor—I wanted monitors I could quickly take down and pack away when needed. These fit that need perfectly. The display quality is excellent. Colors are accurate right out of the box with no adjustments required, and the image is crisp and clear. The 100Hz refresh rate runs smoothly, with no noticeable frame lag or screen flickering during regular use. I haven’t tested them for gaming since I bought them strictly for work, but if I do, I’ll update my review accordingly. Overall, these monitors deliver exactly what I was looking for. Great portable monitor for work. The set up was real easy and the stand is solid and holds the monitor in position well. There is no screen or frame glare and the display is fantastic. This monitor has really helped my eye fatigue while working long days. Solid purchase!

    • Huge and portable monitor.
This was a great monitor - but I had one fundamental problem with the design and had to return it. Because of the design you cannot access the ports on the back to plug in hdmi etc unless the built in kickstand is deployed. Because I got this to mount on my wall using a vesa mount it would not work for my purposes. If you plan to use the built in stand (or have the space to leave the stand open while it is mounted) you're going to be just fine. Shell out the ~$50 for a carry case if you plan to tote this around with you - it's bigger than you expect and won't just fit in a backpack or duffel bag etc ... show more

I bought two of these so I can have a full portable workstation when I travel. This is a beautiful display. At home I have it hooked up to my IMAC and it works perfectly via USB C cable. I also purchased two travel cases on Amazon so I can securely pack the monitors for travel. I had tried an 18.5 inch but it was too small. The 23.8 screen size is the perfect size. This portable monitor came in with a well packed box. I thought it was a TV type monitor . Surprisingly, its profile is slim and all control buttons and sockets are lined on both sides. It came with all the cables you need to connect with your device. The instructions are clear and right to the point. I connected it to my laptop as an extender and it took me only seconds to set it up. It is compatible with Windows, Mac/Apple iPads, iPhones (using USB-C, if you have an earlier model, you will need lighting to HDMI adapter) and Android based devices that support external monitors. Good quality, thinner metal housing, but not cheap plastic so that’s nice. Could be brighter, but for the money this is pretty nice and the picture is too.
