Having recently completed my second cataract surgery I needed several pairs of reading glasses to spread around the house to be sure I had them handy when I needed them. I bought several pairs of ordinary single vision readers and I bought these for those times and locations when I might be doing close work or reading and also watching TV at a distance (my TV is 13 feet from my easy chair) or working in my shop. These were a good choice. They're sturdy and light weight. The spring hinged temples are comfortable and the lens material is clear and of excellent optical quality. They clean up nicely with ordinary lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth. One note: If you've been using progressive bi-focal lenses and have now put them aside because of cataract surgery, these will take some getting accustomed to. There's no progressive change to the "reader" portion of the lenses. Rather, it's like the "old fashioned" bi-focals with the lines. It takes some patience but you'll adjust.

These glasses are great for anyone who doesn't want to be taking their glasses on and off a hundred times a day. The reading bifocal is perfectly situated where you would look down to read while the rest of the glass is perfectly clear for those with no distance vision problems. I have other bifocals where the reading lens is to big and distorts my vision for everything else. The bifocal size on these are perfect for me. They look good, built solid, not heavy and priced very good. I even wear them while driving and often forget I have them on. I highly recommend these glasses for someone like me that can see everything fine as long as it's not an arm's reach away and has to switch from focus on reading and clearly seeing far things a hundred+ times a day like I do at work. Placing small reading on the low tip of your nose so you can see everything you need to see makes you look like Chuck Schumer. These glasses solve that problem.

I love these glasses. I need them for reading and up close stuff. I have a large face and they fit and look great. Better then my prescription glasses that broke 3 times. I have 3 pairs to break now but havenโt broke one yet. I will buy again if needed. Oh, and really scratch resistant as well. I break things and drop my glasses all the time. These stay on my face well.

Great looking frames and lightweight. Great value for high quality glasses. These glasses are great. Husband had cataract surgery and just needed readers. With the top clear he can keep on easily. The bifocals work great.
