Great gift item for foodies, hot sauce lovers, DIY people. Packages came in a nicely packed, professional looking box and all the ingredients were meticulously packaged. I especially liked the easy instructions since I was a bit worried when I ordered that it might be too complex to make. But the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I made the mild version hot sauce in their instructions but added 1 ghost pepper to give it a boost and I like the result: a definite kick, but not spicy at all (YMWV), picture is included. I had it with the omelette that wife made and it went perfectly. Each batch will make about three bottles so the kit will last for a bit depending on how much you use hot sauce. After I finish the hot sauce I made, which should go pretty quickly since it is mild, I plan to make the medium version but maybe change the recipe a bit. It seems like a fun gift idea and I think the person I bought it for will love it. However for $69.00 and something that is a labeled as a great gift/gift kit. I expected more than just shipping it in the box it comes in and sticking a label on top of the label that informs you what is in the box. got this for my dad who loves hot sauces. he immediately when into the kitchen and started experimenting with all the different combinations. after he exhausted his supply from the kit he went out and got more of the ingredients.
