  • Product works really well!
Size: 40 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Love this product! It was easy to use and thorough! It cleaned a very dense rug that I have and the woodsy smell upon application faded to no odor. Just clean! Makes me feel good about having it in the rug and my dog walking on it. I use a carpet cleaning service at my job that uses organic dry, non-toxic, biodegradable cleaner as well. I am so glad to find one that I can order from Amazon and works that same way! ... show more

  • Works really well

Worked fabulously on our white wool rug after our cat threw up brown wet food all over it. Will definitely buy again if needed

  • Very Overlooked product.
Size: 40 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Having been in the carpet industry since the 70's I have been a fan of host for years. As a manufacturing rep I like Host because it does not soak the carpet like conventional shampoo or steam cleaning. To much moisture is detrimental to your carpets construction. Host is a true dry cleaner that does not leave a residue or damage the carpet in the cleaning process. Follow the instructions, you will be surprised with the results. ... show more

  • Really works!
Size: 40 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have two dogs, and it is just that I clean my carpets a lot. I have a rug shampooer that works well, but this stuff put that thing in the dust. It looks like sawdust and is slightly damp. It has a very light fresh scent. You put a handful down and brush it into the rug. Let it sit a while and vacuum it up. It cleans stains and eliminates any odor. It cleaned old stains that I had scrubbed with Fels Naptha. I am quite delighted with this. I don't have to lug around a heavy machine, or spend an hour cleaning the shampooer afterward. ... show more

  • The common grocery store product in the red spray bottle works better. Although I think that's chemical based and this ...
Size: 40 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I won't buy this again. It's a very small quantity and can only spot clean with this amount but it's not a spot cleaner! It doesn't say that anywhere on the description. I was thinking I could cover my entire carpet in the living room with this, brush it in and vacuum up as I'd seen from a commercial carpet cleaner using the Host product which seemed to work very well. It says not to use a brush though, but to gently work in with fingertips which is a very slow laborious task. For some stains, only from general foot marks, no spilt drinks or anything severe, it took several applications and still the stains are not gone totally. The carpet is not the highest quality but is less than a year old, so I will have to get steam cleaners in which I wanted to avoid because of the drying process. The common grocery store product in the red spray bottle works better as a spot cleaner and less than half the price. Although am sure that's chemical based and this isn't. So this is worth getting for the chemically sensitive, or have pets and children low to to ground. Perhaps it works better on a higher quality carpet, not sure. ... show more

  • Do Not Bother
Size: 40 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Did absolutely nothing . Pretty simple. Sprinkle, work into carpet, let sit, and vacuum. Why I or anyone else would think these types of product will clean carpet other than a good ole fashion carpet cleaner with water and soap which is what i ended up doing and it worked way better then this snake oil. Oh, it’s used by professionals….arrggh! ... show more

  • Saved my 8x10 Sisal rug
Size: 40 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’m so grateful for this product. One of my Rottweilers peed on my new sisal rug! I purchased this product and it’s the only thing that’s made a difference! The pee smell is completely gone and the stains are lifting! I'm on my second layer and I can already tell a difference! Tips: - use a heavy amount on the stained parts - work it into the rug brushing in different directions over and over until it’s spread evenly and hits the cracks (the first layer I barely swept it and I felt like the stains got worse and the smell was still there) - let it sit for at least 24 hours - redo it until the stain comes up - (idk if this helped, but turn the fan on the room where the product is *I’ll try to return after my third layer ... show more
