Description

USB powered hose dryer with filter. Refined design with turbo style radial blower fan moves more air with less noise. Designed for daily or weekly use, this dryer is meant to dry your hose in about an hour nearly silently with very little energy use. Many folks use their CPAP to dry their hoses, but CPAP machines have a limited lifespan, why waste any of it on drying your hose when there’s an inexpensive alternative? After washing your hose ( or if there's humidity inside your hose and headgear after use ) simply plug this into one end of your hose and into a USB A socket and the nearly silent fan will gently push air through your hose to dry it out. Compatible with Resmed, Transcend, Respironics, Human Design Medical, Luna, Somnetics, CPAPS, BIPAPS, etc. Any standard 22mm flexible hose end will fit tightly, even slimline hoses. Airmini connectors fit loosely, but the airflow dries them the same. Compact for easy travel and weighing just a few ounces, the dryer can run off a USB power bank for many hours on a charge. Designed and made in the USA from 3D printed parts with some additional hardware. The body and nozzle are PETG, which is the same plastic as in water bottles. The fan and filter case are ABS. All metal hardware is brass (threaded inserts) or stainless steel (fan screws, filter case screws). This new design uses a high quality 1 Watt USB powered dual ball bearing radial blower fan that develops more pressure and moves more air than axial fans, particularly when pulling that air through a filter and pushing it through a hose. Compared to the previous version, this one has 225% more filter area for better airflow and less noise. Please note: This dryer only blows ambient temperature air through your hose, it does not have a heater. The washable open cell foam filter is easily removed for cleaning or exchange by popping off the filter cover. No tools are required and a spare filter is included. Power comes from a standard USB "A" (flat, rectangular) plug on a 1M (3’) cord. Add-on options include a USB timer and a USB power adapter. The timer allows you run the dryer for a set amount of time to dry your hose daily from moisture from your humidifier or after washing. Turn the fan on for your chosen time and come back to a dry hose. Timers are sourced from China and due to limitations on availability the exact features may vary somewhat, but all will include a timer function with a minimum time setting of one or two hours. My current timer has no speed control and can shut off the dryer after 2/4/8/12 hours.

  • Inexpensive. Works very well.
Size: Include both AC Adapter and Speed Control...
I purchased the version with filter, timer, and power supply. This is very quiet, which I appreciate. The filter is easy to remove and clean. That fan is a 5105 blower fan. The power supply is an unremarkable 120 V AC to 5V USB A supply that works fine, but this should work with any USB A power supply. The timer works, but the labelling on it is unclear as to how long it will stay on. It looks like pressing the button should cycle through different colors indicating different times it will stay on, but the LED in fact does not cycle through those colors. I've only had this a short while, but given the simplicity I expect it will be reliable and it has worked well to speed drying of CPAP tubing, and is much more cost effective than the more elaborate ones out there. ... show more

  • Does what it says.
Size: Include both AC Adapter and Speed Control...
Summary - it does what it says, dries the hose and does it well enough without having to use the CPAP machine to do it. It's decently quiet, certainly less loud than other options (like using an air mattress inflator, or the CPAP machine itself), and my CPAP hose fits over the "output" of the device without it being too tight. What is it? Well basically you get a special 3d printed box with a CPU fan attached to it, a filter, and a fan controller. Is that worth the money? Well, depends on how much time and effort you want to put into doing it yourself. TBH I wanted something now instead of waiting hours for a print and getting all the other stuff myself since I didn't have it on hand, and that tradeoff makes sense to me. Would I buy it again? Maybe, maybe not, it ultimately depends on why I would need to buy it again and if I was willing to wait to DIY something. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and the results it has achieved, it has made my weekly cleaning routine much easier. ... show more

  • Exceptional quality - this is EXACTLY what I wanted. The fit/function is just perfect.
Size: No-Add ons
This is an exceptional value. It works great with the perfect level of airflow, is very quiet, and is smaller than it looks in the photos. The build quality is also fantastic. So glad I bought this one, it's perfect.

  • Gets the job done... Slowly
Size: Include AC Adapter
Overall pleased but if it could push more air, that would be great.

  • Clever invention - it dries my hose fast and is super quiet. The USB timer is convenient.
Size: Include Speed Control/Timer
My CPAP hose has condensation in it every morning from the humidifier, and often used to still have some in it the next night when I was ready to use it again. Same with washing it, they take *forever* to dry, especially in the middle. This clever device usually dries it in less than an hour and is quiet enough I can barely hear it more than a step or two away from it. Even then its just a gentle whooshing. You can feel the air coming out the other end of the hose when it's running. To keep out a lot of the dust in the air, it's got a foam filter. The filter is held on with a grille that snaps off easily and is washable. It came with instructions and a spare washable filter. I use the timer to run it for two hours and then it shuts off, but I like the option of 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. I already had a multiple USB charger next to my bed for my phone, so no need for a separate power supply. I tried another model first that looked like a air mattress inflator with a plastic adapter on the end and it was so noisy I couldn't stand it. It didn't have the option of a timer, so I had to put up with the noise until it was done. That went back, but I'm keeping this. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your money.
Size: Include both AC Adapter and Speed Control...
This is absolutely useless. It blows so weakly that it would take hours to dry out the hose.

  • What a brilliant solution to drying CPAP hoses !
Size: Include Speed Control/Timer
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the fan unit with the timer. Works perfectly and is so easy to use. The fan is very quiet but effective. I couldn’t be happier with this product. I had been watching CPAP videos on YouTube about a rather large box dryer that is popularand almost bought one. So glad I checked Amazon before I did ! This unit is very small and takes up very little space. I dry the main hose and the mask hose at the same time. Takes about an hour. ... show more
