Everyone thought the tablecloths and matching napkins were adorable, and when two guests spilled red wine on them on Thanksgiving, no sweat. The cloths are waterproof, which I had not realized. Reading other reviews, it is true they are deeply creased upon arrival, but I tossed them into the washer-dryer and then touched them up with the iron. Presto! No creases. After Thanksgiving, I tossed them in the washer-dryer again, and this time, when I took them from the dryer, there were no creases and no need to iron. Fold and put away for next year. It is a beautiful tablecloth, but it slides all over the table, it is hard to keep it in place. It is made of polyester; it would stay on the table much better if it was made of 100% cotton. Thank you
